Am I the only one who doesn't drive?

I am currently 23 years old that still plays Pokemon from time to time. I currently have a job at Target as a part timer, and going to college part time as well.

I was just wandering if there are others out there that are over 21 who still don't have their drivers licences?

I've known several people without. And I know there are loads of people who just choose not to drive (even though they have their license).

it depends on where you live too.
Many places you don't have to drive.
I live in Houston and have been driving since 18.

Depends on gas prices? Pfft. If you don't have money maybe. LOL

I love driving my 350 66 C10 even though I get around 12-14MPG.

Kuro, that's not something to advertise.

I know plenty of people who don't drive. Some of them have extreme anxiety about controlling a vehicle and the responsibility that comes with it. I know others that don't have the money or means to maintain a vehicle to keep it road legal.

I think choosing to NOT drive in either of those situations is something to look up to.

If someone doesn't want to drive that's fine. The decision shouldn't be looked down upon by any means.

I was saying you shouldn't advertise your illegal activities of driving without a license. I didn't say anything negative about anyone choosing not to drive. I said I look up to the people that choose to inconvenience themselves to prevent harm to others.

My aunt stopped driving until she was 52 (I think). She did not get her license at all until she was 23. My Dad's best friend did not get his license until he was 28 (I believe).

It seems like if your living in the suburbs, having a car is definitely a must if you need to get from place to place. However, if your living downtown, then there is no reason to get a car at all.

I have never felt a need to get my driving license. I have been able to get around with my own two feet or through publich transport :)

I am also 23, so no, you aren't the only one.

I'm also 23 and I don't drive but I'm willing to learn how to drive soon since I don't want to end up being a deadbeat for the rest of my life, and it would be easier for me to find jobs this way too .

I'm 16 and have no interest to drive at all. I've never really just thought, "I wish I had a car..." and would much prefer to just bike to most places under a certain distance. Though I really should start learning how since I literally have not even pushed a gas pedal in my life. o-o And I can't get a job too far away if I don't have my own car so... Yeah.

Hopefully by the time I actually NEED one I know what I'm doing... And I will as long as I stop wasting my life away stalking forums.

I'm 20 and have no intention to drive, primarily because everyone around here are horrible drivers. Too bad it's the sunbelt so that causes some problems, very little public transit.

I learnt to drive when I was 14 (living in Nebraska), but since I moved to Chicago three years ago, the only time I drive is when I take out a Zipcar for rare occasions, or when I am back in Nebraska.
