Alright! I took a different route with the deck, so I posted a new thread. The idea is still to blast away as often as possible with Raichu while other Pokes on my bench chip away at my opponent's bench so Raichu can 1-shot everything while also getting me the energy I need for Raichu to keep blasting. Raichu Lv.X has supreme sniping, and Claydol and Uxie help me cycle to get everything I need as fast as I need it.

Whaddaya think?

Thanks!

C'mon though folks, I know this deck is far from perfect. What d'you all think needs fixing?

That's not a bad idea! I changed it, I'll have to see how that works out.

Thank ya!

Drop the mantric line its just taking up unneed space, drop the fishermans and add Energy Restore, its a coin flip but nonetheless its better then having to use your One supporter to just get energies out. Drop both pichu and collectors and add 3 call energy, and if your going to run DCE run at least one more!

If your going to run Raichu you will need more than 10 Lightning energy.
No need for Manectric or Pichu and only 1 Pachirsu??

I can appreciate why you would use Ampharos but it doesnt really work with Raichu Lv X!!
As ive said before only Magnezone or Electivire!

You should try Raichu GL.

Pokemon
4 Raichu GL
3 - 2 - 3 Ampharos (2OP7, 1 Prime)
2 Crobat GL
2 -2 Claydol
2 Uxie

Or something along those lines......the idea is to use Raichu / Crobat damage the bench early. Use Ampharos to continue that with his powers and hit for 70 plus damage to the bench!!

Bah, it won't let me edit the first post anymore for some reason. Here are the changes I made:

3x Double Colorless E
12x Lightning E
(Energy: 15)

@Arcanine: Good idea with the Energy Restores. I kept a couple Fishermen in there just because I like the certainty that it will get me the 4 in a bind, but I'll be primarily using Restore when I can. As for the Call Energies, I unfortunately have none available to me (including trading with people from League, no one has extras), but I did put in another DCE. Thanks!

@Nik: Dude, I see the advantage of the Magnezone, but it's just not working for me. =(
I tried and tried with multiple combinations and it just doesn't run the way I want it to. It was also becoming a problem with the Magnezone that lets me put a discarded energy on Raichu for 10 damage, since Raichu has abyssmal HP as it is. I'm glad to see the ernest with which you're trying to help me, but I just can't seem to properly use Zone. =(
I took out the Pichus and added a Pachirisu though. I also added a couple more lightning energies. I think you're definitely right there, I was having a hard time getting the energy I needed with all the discarding.
But getting back to Ampharos, the reason why I think she kicks butt with Raichu is because the problem with Raichu isn't so much the energy, but being fragile. I can thunderbolt big nasties for 100, sure, but almost every deck centers on Pokes that can survive 100 damage, after which they proceed to slam into me and then bye-bye Raichu. With Ampharos, most of my opponent's Pokes meant for fighting will have at least 30-40 HP already shaved off for me from Ampharos, and I shouldn't have much trouble 1 shotting them. Sure, I can only Thunderbolt every other turn, but let's not forget the moderate awesomeness of Iron Tail, which is my attack for those between turns and has the possibility of being even better than Thunderbolt for 1 energy.
I really like the Raichu/Ampharos build you posted, that's purdy nifty! I really don't have the option of using that though... I spent a pretty good amount of money ordering my Raichus off the 'net, and I can't replace them with a good conscience, haha. Plus, I just really love the HGSS Raichu. ^^

You can make a great deck with raichu and magnezone(have won city). magnezone get some energies back and give 80 damage plus paralize. a plusle tech is good too and one magnezone from .

I tried this and it didn't work for me...

But... everyone is telling me to use Magnezone... I don't know what to do...

Maybe I was just drawing badly every time? I'm not sure. I guess I'll give it another shot, but I want to keep this decklist in case it doesn't work for me. Hang on, I'll come up with a decklist for RaiZone...

Raizone is the better build for Raichu, if it wasn't for the energy discard this deck would be pretty BA. XD But oh well You could work just with amphy and keep it an amphy lock, seeing how everyone keeps wanting to make that deck....

This is what I have so far using Zone... Same strategy as AmphaBolt, but instead of pinging my opponent's bench, I'm using Zone's PokePower to be able to Thunderbolt every turn. What would you say about this?

Looking back at it, I think it is better... I just liked the fact that I could almost undoubtedly 1-shot anything in my way, but 100-120 isn't bad either. And this way, that damage is consistant.

I like the Plusle, but I really can't afford to get rid of anything that gets my energy back for me. As for those other Magnezones, I don't see what they would do to help Raichu, since Raichu is the main focus of the deck.

I may take out something for Sableye, but are you sure about E-Belt? It seems like Raichu really needs the occasional E-Belt...

I really like Broken Time-Space, but I may take it out just because I can fairly well depend on at least half the decks I play against using it. And Pokemon Communicator is good.

As for the Raichu MT, that may be something to think about... That would be really good for charging up a Raichu on my bench to get ready to rock. I don't think I'd want to take out 2 Raichu HGSS though. That would leave me with only one copy of the Poke my deck is based on. =/

I honestly like Roseanne better than Collector though... It gets one less Poke than Collector, but it's more versatile to adapt to what you need.

Even though it seems like I'm shooting all of your ideas down, I'm very grateful and if you argue your points with why you like those cards better I will certainly listen. I'm still a bit new, so I may be missing what you're trying to say.

Hey! A heads up on this you'll probablly want to put this in a new thread since it is techinically a different deck. Better safe than sorry, keep the e belts but if you could find a way to add plus powers, this deck might do even better!

Will do, sir.

Yeah, I had some in there before, but I think I'm gonna put some back in. They're too handy not to run in this deck, I think.

The good thing is, I might beat up on some Gyarados decks at State, if nothing else! XD
