Um, it's a little hard to explain. You build a digital decklist, and the game sets it up like a real game. There are options for all the game actions (Search your deck, draw cards, look at Prizes, etc.) The list of cards is updated every time a new set comes out (About a week after) and a patch released for people to play the new decks.
Then you can link up with people online (Through Hamachi for RedShark, IDK what Apprentice uses) and you can battle like that. There's a lot of trust involved, since a lot of restrictions aren't hardwired in. For instance, there's nothing programmed that prevents you from using more than one Supporter per turn. You just have to remember it or your opponent will hopefully catch your mistakes.
There's a definite learning curve, mostly with figuring out how to do everything, but the people are generally helpful and patient if you're new at it. ^^ It's a good system for testing out decks or for using decks you wouldn't have a hope of building IRL (Like a LuxChomp with ERL for we poor broke people). You should check it out.
