AMU Revival

Um, it's a little hard to explain. You build a digital decklist, and the game sets it up like a real game. There are options for all the game actions (Search your deck, draw cards, look at Prizes, etc.) The list of cards is updated every time a new set comes out (About a week after) and a patch released for people to play the new decks.

Then you can link up with people online (Through Hamachi for RedShark, IDK what Apprentice uses) and you can battle like that. There's a lot of trust involved, since a lot of restrictions aren't hardwired in. For instance, there's nothing programmed that prevents you from using more than one Supporter per turn. You just have to remember it or your opponent will hopefully catch your mistakes.

There's a definite learning curve, mostly with figuring out how to do everything, but the people are generally helpful and patient if you're new at it. ^^ It's a good system for testing out decks or for using decks you wouldn't have a hope of building IRL (Like a LuxChomp with ERL for we poor broke people). You should check it out. :)

You make some good points, but in this deck it's highly unlikely that i'd have extra pixies on the bench too often. I'd have to devote space to Mewtwo, Metagross, and Gardevoir. Though i have been thinking about adding another Premier Ball or Level Max.

Even without the immediate re-Level Up, I'd still *way* prefer Premier Ball over Level Max. "Lucky" or not, you have enough attempts at mechanics that you should be able to put the appropriate Pokemon in the active position, even if it's post-KO, often enough that the (only and minimal) benefit of Level Max working for a bench guy is irrelevant. Add the discard regrowth beyond the coin flip issue and IMO it's a no brainer. So even without my optimal description, you can just replace the KOd Level X with it's next basic version and Premier Ball it back when you need to (next turn at soonest if it's the right play).

Overall I think it seems way too tough to squeeze two different 1-1-1 lines. Missing Upper Material is gonna be tough, and I don't know if you're going to find a sufficient replacement, but I think a 1-1-1 of Metagross is not the solution. I'd experiment with either something else, or yanking out on of your other tricks to beef up this line. Testing is the only way you're gonna see.

why not just play max level max, dual ball, unown q's instead of metagross, and i think your mesprites should be three one, azelf two two, and uxie three one if you don't have a second uxie x. i like the mewtwo, and you seriously only need one belt, nothing can survive a 2oo damage hit. energy pickup are awesome also. attach one turn then next turn level up retreat level up, level max, energy pickup and attach, BAM! two hundred by turn two. it takes luck but it's very possible, that's what the deck is supposed to do. and level max works for one turn mewtwo level x. i'd also max out premier balls. i like the twelve energy.

What I'll probably ending up doing is alternate between trying the deck with 1 Premier/2 Level Max and 3 Premier Ball, only because I really like the card. I'm the kind of guy who will play with his favorites even if better options are available. Whatever version I decide I like better is the one I'll stick with in the end.

I miss Moonlight Stadium more then Upper Material since it was much less restrictive in my deck. But, Metagross UL is the best substitute I've been able to find. Adding another line of him would make more sense, but i've no idea what I would take out to make room.

I'm not a fan of Unown Q for this deck, only because it's restrictive. If I took out Metagross and replaced them with Unown Q then that's a total of 3 pokemon I could give free retreat. The rest I would still have to discard an energy for, which would slow me down. Metagross gives them all free retreat if they have at least one :psychic: attached, which is an easy feat for Gardevoir to accomplish. It's the best replacement I could find for Moonlight Stadium.

I'm not so sure about having more then 2 of each pixie, despite the pluses of Uxie card draw and Mespirt power-lock. I'm not not even sure what I would take out for them and I couldn't clutter my bench with too many extra pixies, as then the rest of my party would be stranded in my hand. I'll have to think more on that.

I'll probably keep both belts. I love Supreme Blast ti death, but If i lose a single piece if the puzzle then I'm back to square one. If, say, Garchomp C Lv. X blasted Azelf Lv. X off of my bench then, even If I had a second Azelf in play already, i'd have to retreat my active Mesprit Lv. X to send out Azelf, were I relying on Premier Balls. I'm not running Warp Points or Switches, so it'd be another turn before Mesprit Lv. X could party again, Were I relying on Level Max, if my luck failed me, then my Mesprit Lv. X would be all but useless. But someone else with an Expert Belt could turn that all around, and 2 are easier to find then one. Just a worst-case scenario. ^_^;;

There's not too much difference between Jirachi and Energy Pickup as far as luck and usefulness go. How many Level Max and Premier Balls would you recommend I have?

No Premier Ball...?

So far I have 1 premier ball in my line-up and 2 level max. I plan to mix and match to see what suits me the most.

Stage twos in AMU? Sure, Gardy's power is helpful, but I don't think it's worth trying to run in this deck.

I've already run Gardevoir in my past version of this deck, that also ran the MT AMU set. It was amazingly useful.
