I built it because Armaldo looks really strong. I playtested the deck a bunch of times today at league, and I lost more matches than I'd have liked...mainly because I only ran one Magnetic Storm. I've since then fixed that problem, by going from 4 Cave/1 Storm to 2 Cave/3 Storm. ZRE's been a tough matchup later in the game, when they play a Battle Frontier, and then Admin my hand to 1/2 cards, forcing me to topdeck a stadium to win. I built this deck with speed in mind, I can usually get an Armaldo or three out by turn three or four via Jirachi, Pidgeot, Anorith and my plethora of drawing cards.

The issues I have with this current decklist are...
-I'd like to possibly add an ATM Rock, for either Pidgeot or Anorith to use when my opponent starts going crazy with Rare Candy when they know it's Armaldo.

-Four Armaldo ex helped me in every match today, I got all of them out most of the time. When one gets heavily damaged, I can switch to another non damaged one without giving up a prize, one of the reasons why I have both Switch and Warp Point (the other being the ability to better manipulate Jirachi).

-POW! Hand Extension might come in handy in this deck too, I'm not sure...the Switch/Warp Point combo worked pretty nicely for me.

It feels like my main problem today was my lack of Magnetic Storm, and I've addressed that in this list, but if anyone could offer any other suggestions for making this deck better, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
 
lose 1 pidgeot 1 pidgeotto and 1 pidgey and add in one clawfossil and 2 suprise time machine, that way when armaldo has around 100 damage on him you can use suprise and throw him back in your deck while claw fossil has 100 damage, thus, no prizes, but this can only work on a candied armaldo so you may need to conserve your strange caves until you run out of claw fossils. try that combo out, when i played it, it was a very fun and successful deck, i hope it is the same for you:thumb:

Jirachi is mostly used for holon engine now...

You need to change your trainer engine to holon engine

2 or 3 holon transciever
2 holon mentor
1 holon scientist
fill in the rest

After you send up a fresh armaldo, you're gonna have another one benched with alot of damage on it, no? So find room for Super scoop up so you can completely heal. throw him down, rinse and repeat.
 
Find room for a 1-1 Healing shower Milotic line and a Mr Briney.

but y would he need the milotic and a briney. only thing milotics gonna work on is pidgeot and briney is 4 to repeat the process. kind of seems like wasting space
 
i think that you should use a a strong fire or psy as well because Dustox ex crushes this deck but with a formiable Psychic or fire the deck could stand a chance
 
oh wow... I completely forgot about the fact that it doesn't heal EX's lol....

I'm working on this deck using the lunarock lock and setup. I also tried a tech espeon ex line, but I think a vaporeon ex line would actually work better for the deck overall.

Why I did what I did:

Thrown away a Jirachi: To get some space
Make Pidgeoot 2-1-2: You have Jirachi to search for it faster. Plus you get more space.

Add Mewtwo: You attack with the Armaldo until it has like 40 HP more. Then you use warp energy and switch it for new Armaldo. Then Play mewtwo and move energy to new magcargo. Use holon ton to get warp back. When you get 2-3 armaldo damaged, play briney, take the mewtwo back and play it again, moving everything to last Armaldo. Then play Blissey ex and heal everything. It is really harsh and evil.

Warp energy: Sweet combo cause you can't swithc jirachis like crazy.

4 Claw fossil: They can stall.

Add Copycat: They are good for refreshing hand!

Drop 2 admin: You don't need 4!

Make 4 elms, drop celio: You have to get armaldo as fast as possible!
