I've heard that there is a Jungle set like this, but I've never seen a card to prove it.

For Jungle, would the errors be corrected? No holo cards missing a set symbol? Either way, thats a bummer for me as well. Its only 4 cards I would need, but if no one can find them, then I might never get them haha

I would expect all of the errors to be corrected. All of the Base Set errors were corrected.

I have a fossil Zapdos as well with 1999-2000. But I think its from this theme deck as it have the cosmo holofoil..
Yes, it is from the Tempest theme deck from the Thunderstorm gift box.
I don't see it having much of any effect on the base 1999-2000 set. The 2000 base set is no less rare than before, the fossil version is no direct substitute, and the fossil version appears to be quite rare (We've basically seen one partial set). Not to mention that there is always a premium for anything pertaining to Base set. Just my $0.02

I've talked with DuckTamer a bit about this since she made the purchase.
Assuming these are real, I believe we can confirm the existance of a full non-holo set of Fossil 2000.
The reason I am unsure about holos is because of the story of Base 2000 packs with 2000 non-holos and 1999 holos.
Until I see a holo other than Zapdos, I shall remain skeptical on holos for now.
Also worth noting, the Zapdos that we already knew of from the Tempest/Thunderstorm pack uses the cosmic holofoil from later sets, so if the holos do exist there are two different versions of the 2000 Fossil Zapdos.
And then if we consider the possibilities of the Zapdos having the error with the small amount of foil it's something else we need to look into.
This game makes my head hurt at times =P

I decided to look through my collection to see what I could find. I don't have any 1999-2000 from jungle, but from fossil I found holo Zapdos, Raichu, Golduck, 3 Psyducks and 2 Energy Searches. Just out of curiosity, what foil should my Zapdos have if it is out of the thunderstorm pack? I know someone with a load of jungle and fossil cards and will investigate further tomorrow.

Not to mention those 4 "Cosmic" holofoils from Fossil with the 1999 dates haha. I have not heard of any more of these popping up though.
