I'm not much of a fan of ex Pokemon as counters. It's very dangerous. If you're going to have a counter that only really counters 1 Pokemon, don't make it an ex.

That I do agree with. The only thing that matters about cressy is its rare that you would lose the 4 energy attached to it. So the high HP is what the deck need and Mewtwo EX would need 5 energy to OHKO it, 6 with Eviolite and thats a huge difference. It also means that cressy won't make any difference in the mirror match. Against other decks, you just move the energy and max potion or super scoop up. They won't be willing to trade 2 Mewtwo for 1 cresselia. You'll only play it down to take the mewtwo KO.

Of course, if they have a double catcher and DCE to KO it, which may be hard without Junk Arm. It reminds me of the Dustox ex that had safeguard. Good times were had.

It's worth noting that cress can't one shot a Mewtwo that has an eviolite attached. Need to splash damage with darkrai or use a tool scrapper / pluspower.
