Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

AP Test reviews (long done...post your scores!!!)

I took the AP test for english lit a few years back, got a 3 but was half asleep and running on a red bull I chugged (plus AP tests didn;t count for my school grade) so there was no pressure.

Actually, that's my only advice: Don't feel like you're under pressure.

I took:

AP Lit-5
APUSH-4
AP Gov-4
AP Physics-2
AP Calc-2
AP Psych-4

Teachers make a big impact on AP scores. If you've only covered half of the material... you will fail. I've learned that the hard way =(

Does No one take AP Chemistry?

If anyone is taking it next year let me know..I have been teaching it for 6 years!!

Man, I could have used you for college chemistry. Understanding nuclear chemistry at the end of the course was a pain in my...well you know. Thank goodness I understood buffers instead.

what's the general age of people taking AP tests? Based on UK education, I would guess 17-18

Just curious

EDIT: In the AP Literature exam, roughly how well do you need to do to get a '5'? I'm getting around 80% in the multiple choice, just wondering how good that is

The General age is 14-18. Depending on your school and current grade determines what AP corses and test you can take. The older you are the more options of AP coreses and test you can take. Well at least that is what it was like at my school.

Idk exactly how well you need to do on AP lit to get a 5, but if it like most of the other test you need to do extremely well on all parts of the test. I think an 80% is a 4

The AP tests are graded on a curve, but if you manage to get an 80% on one of them, you're in the running for a 5. They grade them so that the bulk of the people get 3s, approximately equal amounts (and less than the 3s) get 2s and 4s, and the same thing for 1s and 5s.

Cool... I would've done better on the test, but messed up one of the passages.

I heard that the American education system is rubbish, but at least you guys are able to take AP courses. I was bored out of my brains between 16-18 (though my uni course more than made up for that!)
