Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Arceus (the pokemon)

The deck has insane potential. First turn possible, swarm with the Arceus. Then move them around next turn and start attacking right away. Not too slow, and all damage is increased due to hitting weakness. A lot of potential here..

I'm not sure how you'd viably play it without Ripple Swell. That's seriously what makes the deck move as quickly as it needs to, and it's the only way Sky Spear will ever be used, though Sky Spear kind of hurts to use regardless.

I could see trying to run a non-Ripple Swell build, which would then allow Claydol and Uxie to be played, but... ew. Iunno. We'll see, baby mario has this thread in the bag.

Cos

-Nice support with First Door etc.
-Can hit on any weakness
-When you hit with weakness, there's quite a high damage output
-Getting a possible 8 energies into play T2, and being able to move them around

Prons

-Can't run any tech lines, Uxies, Azelfs, etc.
-Has problems with consistency
-Expensive to build
No it doesn't.

You just have to get your balance right. Keep it simple with a very streamlined search and draw engine. No need for any techy bits whatsoever.

Ripple Swell/Ultimate Zone with any type option is just fantastic. Its immensely useful in so many ways. That's what makes Arceus playable. This deck kinda reminds me of Dragtrode in a way.
