Err, Flu? Quicksand? Mike Jones? Have I seen those around? I don't think I've ever sat down across from someone and they've said, "I'm playing Flu!" but maybe I've seen it around but didn't realise it at the time. Or are they all just different names for essentially the same deck?

Flu is not the exact list as R-gon.....It really doesn't matter to me....I am calling it Flu no matter what because I think it is a better name......
 
OMG, flu=r-gon...so what if its not the exact list? If my metanite list doesn't run dx metagross and somebody else's does, are we playing 2 completely different decks?? NO. So please stop arguring about trival things like this.
 
I'm in Team R and I don't live anywhere NEAR Florida :(

In what way are teams dumb? They give you a larger pool of thought to come up with and test new deck ideas, rebuild and tech out existing archetypes. Isn't making teams out of boredom using people, if they're actually in it for those reasons?

lol this thread is turning into utter silliness.

I DID use Flygon at the end of Cities, and i did win with it. Omar and I talked a lil at the end of cities and we shared a lot of the same opinions about our Flygon lists, I say we prolly started playing it at the same time. Flariados isnt big here so I didnt need Holon GL..i still dont like that card anyway, it doesnt work with Flygon/Castform imo.

And i played Shiftry at 3 states and went undefeated, and dropped to protect my rating (which was good then ;x) And then i went undefeated the last one with Flygon.

I didn't play the first regionals weekend, mainly because I need professor points for the Professor Cup. And i played a Tyranitar deck my friends and I had built a few weeks earlier at the Memphis Regionals. They had both top 16ed the Midwest Regionals..prolly one of the hardest regionals this year, so I felt comfortable with it. Sadly we all bombed in Memphis. A lot of it was bad draws for the other 2, but I was also realllly sick, so I prolly wasnt playing my best either.

I honestly don't care what the Flygon deck is called, both my group and Team R pretty much basically made it at the same time, so you guys can call it what you want..and we'll call it what we want =)

And i am WAY hotter than Omar =D kthx

Anyway I think Shiftry should definitly be added to the Archetypes..but I do still think Sableye is >> than Lickitung =\

Infernape has been seen all over from what I'm seeing in the Deck reports. That's certainly an archetype right there.
Another archetype, or a possible one would be Mario.dec. It's seen a lot of attention on the boards, so, it's only a matter of time before it sees more play.
 
should mario dec be playing holon engine? i've tested a ver. w/o holon engine and sometimes me hand card was : plus power, lucario, DRE, DRE with machop active (no bench). LOL
 
Infernape/Delcatty is such an obvious combo that I'm sure many people came up with it independently.
We could use a good article on it, but maybe it needs some more play first, to get the details right.
 
What do you guys think about "DESTINY" being an archytpe ?:thumb::thumb:
i think it should be, i jus want to know a more variety of reasons why it should
or shouldnt be.....
