Was looking around on ebay and spotted these the seller is from the UK just wondering if these cards are real.

They don't look real.. but its not easy to tell form the pictures.

Font for the HP and the star in the colourless energy symbol look wrong to my untrained eye.

Plus it says that his son got them from a 'collectors tin' hmmm

I'm in the UK, and despite spending a lot of time traipsing around shopping centers I've never ever seen a Ray ex d in a collectors tin.

cheap market stalls sell them:- 200 or more super cards in a metal tin. often the tin will say something like 'worlds 2008' or something else equally improbable.

It's already been said before that these cards are fake. I'm not going to say they are for that would just be rehashing. I will just point out some of the things that lead to this conclusion (that I can see from the images).

1) As others have pointed out, the Energy symbols are not right. They look as if the symbol used to represent the 'color' (star for white / bolt for lightning / leaf for grass) are too big in comparison.

2) There has never been to my knowledge a Stamped card of an ex.

3) An ex card does not contain a yellow boarder around the edge. The older ex's have the sparely silver look and the newer ex's simply contain a silver boarder.

If there are any others that people see, let us know. It's always good to share these things with people so they can look for them in further trades / purchases. We all need to know what to look out for.
