Arizona State Championship RESULTS !!

Yeah

Well i didnt think id be able to go to states since i have been sick for the past week and a half, but now im all good, so i hope i can still make the final 4. but i know whos gonna be in the final 4: Bin, Justin, ME, and ryah. Just like i hope it will be. Good luck to all players in states, may the best player win!

Alot of talk from someone who origianally stuck the stupid Amphy in his deck, that is until he had to play against a real Zapdos deck.... Hummm wonder where he got the idea for that deck??? Could have swore there were 2 other players playing a speed Zappy deck that handed someone there lunch!!! Let me think.
I believe we had to also explain to a certain someone about Zappy's power and the energy from anyone, sound like anyone you know???

Okay for everyone coming to the ARIZONA STATE Championship on SUNDAY 3/6 ........

If you come to league in Gilbert on Friday 3/4 (Gamemaster Games) or you come to league in Chandler on Sat. 3/5 (Gamers Edge) You will be able to pick up a FRESH OFF THE PRESSES STATE DECK REGISTRATION SHEET EARLY!! (have it filled out before you arrive on SUNDAY, makes it all the more easier for everyone)

Thanks to our own BLIZZARD for getting these ready :)

You would choose a dweeb of a card!!! Should have been the Shiny Ray. No ifs, ands, or BUTTS about it.
Will continue to have to work with you I see. You teach them and train them and for what? Only to let you down. Just when you think you are ready to let them out on there own, they do something like this. Go figure...
 
i thought it was because someone else was hogging ALL the shining rays and blizz didnt have one to scan?

I will be bringing copies of Nicoles post today to league as well, passed them out last nite at league with the deck sheets.

what a great tourney I had to leave early so I missed the finals for 11-14 and 15+ but I can gladly say my daughter Holly won the 10- congrats Holly

What a Day!!
We started the Tournament on time at high Noon.....with the largest turnout for Arizona 60 players.

6 rounds with cut to top 8 in the 15+, 11-14 and cut to top 2 in the 10 and under.

At the end of the 6 rounds we did have a tie in the 15+ (for two of the top 8 spots) we ran a playoff for those spots which lengthened the tournament for this age group, Thanks to everyone for being so patient. We finally got done alittle after 8pm.

Congratulations to everyone .......There were so many great matches once again (and by the looks of the list of winners below, it was the GIRLS who swept up the trophies in EVERY age group! )CONGRATULATIONS

15+:
1st.......Ryah R.
2nd......Bin X. (CardRaider)

11-14
1st.......Diedra R.
2nd......Joey L. (spookees jr. lol)

10 and under
1st ..... Holly B. (Blizzards daughter=lil' flurry maybe? lol)
2nd..... Jon S.

sigh...... not in top 4 like id hoped, but had a 2 great matches against ryah and bin. BTW, GOOD JOB RYAH!!! :clap: :clap: :clap:

whew! only 60 players. not bad, but not good enuf to beat our 94 in CO. Looks like it will come down to UT and CO for Mtn West Regionals. :tongue: :biggrin:

Good numbers tho. Numbers are up all across the country.

Also, it would be nice to see the winning decks.
