4 x Darkrai G (RR)
4 x Froslass GL (RR)
4 x Espeon 4 (RR)
4 x Altaria C (SV)
4 x Lucian's Assignment
4 x Bertha's Warmth
4 x Aaron's Collection
4 x SP Radar
4 x Special Darkness Energy
4 x SP Energy
20 x Psychic Energy

The concept is to use Froslass, Espeon or Altaria as my main attacker as I slowly increase the number of Darkrai on my bench. Froslass, Espeon and Altaria provide three different types of attacking, while also keeping the ability of sleep inducing available. Once the defending is asleep, he or she takes damage from every Darkrai every time he or she gets tails. Darkrai are to be used as a last resort for attacking, but have worked well on tanks that I've previously damaged, because if he attacks with his 50+ (for each special darkness attached) and it doesn't K.O. and they are previously damaged they're asleep and then the cycle continues. Lucians are good for switching out attackers, Berthas work on all the pokemon in this deck, Aarons help me get back Darkrai or energy or attackers, and SP Radar help me get Darkrai out. SP energy can be used in place of the darkness energy, though isn't preferred if I can use 4 Special Darkness on one Darkrai, enabling me to do 90 damage and then put them to sleep in the method above. It's a very chance related deck, but I enjoy playing pokemon that way. I also am semi OCD about consistency and numbers, so I am constantly doing the 4-4-4-4 etc thing with number of cards. Anyways, this is my deck, I named it after Army Of Darkness, which is a fairly good movie, feel free to comment with advice, or insight, or just to say you like it or something, but please don't bash it because I don't run mainstream strategies. It's not that I couldn't, given the current card list, I just have more fun when an opponent who should not be losing to me cannot flip heads to save his or her life, and loses because he or she is having a bad day. Please and thank you.

A lot of fun to play. If it wasn't for that troublesom "remains asleep" wording in Darkrai's body this would be so much better. I made a few changes:

TOTAL CARDS: 60

POKEMON: 16
1 : Crobat, MT-23
4 : Espeon 4, RR-18
4 : Froslass GL, RR-6
1 : Uxie, LA-43
1 : Darkrai, MD-3
4 : Darkrai G, RR-3
1 : Relicanth, SV-79
TRAINERS: 28
4 : Team Galactic's Invention G-105 Poke Turn, PL-118
4 : Poke Blower +, SF-88
2 : Team Galactic's Invention G-103 Power Spray, PL-117
3 : Great Ball, SF-85
3 : Pokedex Handy 910is, PL-114
4 : Cyrus's Conspiracy, PL-105
4 : Roseanne's Research, OP8-11
1 : Volkner's Philosophy, RR-98
2 : Cynthia's Feelings, LA-131
1 : Team Galactic's Invention G-101 Energy Gain, PL-116
ENERGY: 16
4 : SP Energy, RR-101
4 : Darkness Energy, SW-129
2 : Darkness Energy, DP-129
4 : Psychic Energy, DP-127
2 : Fighting Energy, DP-128

The poke turn fix the darkrai start and give you damage control with Crobat and reduces the need for Bertha to heal.
Rosanne is obvious and was probably an oversight.
Cynthia is played because they will hit heads when Frosslass brings up a heavy hitter. With low HP on everyone they get the KO you get 8 cards to get back in business.
Energy gain helps to use any of the secondary attacks as well as powering up a Darkrai.
Power sprays Uxie, Claydol, Dark Palm, Guard etc.
Relicanth to use the opponents unown Gs against him. The blowers also help play around unown G.
Crobat drop provides the damage to activate Darkness sleep in a pinch you can use a a blower for the same purpose.

All in all the biggest problems are low HP, Unown G, Warp, switch, evolve. Sleep based decks are inherently inconsistent but I think that I will build this for league.

Should try Wigglytuff from Great Encounters. It is really fun.

i tried almost that exact build but i found that the froslass from LA rocks it way better, and a couple darkrai from GE with the power are also good

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

or are they LA also? hmmm...

The deck went 1 w 3 l at battle roads in hillsborough nc, which is fine with me, because my first loss I had my opponent at six prizes and me with one, then he brought out a machamp with an unknown g attatched. I was done for. Another similar loss happened when I killed a guy's magikarp, and he discarded two more and evolved one, and the evolved one attacked with straight nineties. Good times were had though, and some actually respected my strrategy. Will play again, might make the roseannes/radar swap.

That is why you run GE Wilgglytuff with it for the auto sleep, it is a power not an attack.

My problem with this is what if I can't wake up but my opponent can? I can't put them back to sleep if I'm effected by a special condition.

This would run better if I ran Snorlax in my deck, so I could attack while asleep. Not quite the route I want to run, but thank you for the suggestion.

my bud is working on a Darkrai/Snorlax build. he'll be using the MD #3 Darkrai, along with Darkrai X, Darkrai G, and the snorlax's. He has a few other items to work with.

my suggestion for this deck is to have attacks and powers that put poke's to sleep. if you're concerned about being put to sleep and not waking up, run a 1-1 line of SW #44 Xatu.

Replaced 4 of the Psychic energies with Flint's will power, so that I can power up a Darkrai if I need to. Sometimes he gets pulled out there, with no energies attached, and gets wailed on and dies before the third turn, which is detrimental to my strategy.

New Setup:

4 x Darkrai G (RR)
4 x Froslass GL (RR)
4 x Espeon 4 (RR)
4 x Altaria C (SV)
4 x Lucian's Assignment
4 x Bertha's Warmth
4 x Aaron's Collection
4 x Roseanne's Research
4 x Flint's Willpower
4 x Special Darkness Energy
4 x SP Energy
16 x Psychic Energy
