It's all about preference. I didn't like the fact that if you prized one of the 3 pieces, you either had to hope to draw it out of your prizes or use 4 bench spaces. Mewtwo did the job fine, I went 4-1 in total vs Luxchomp at Nationals.

That's true. If it works, it is crazy good but, if it doesn't it can be horrible. I just like the fact it is easier to get out if everything works well.

Anyways, the list is pretty nice but, I have a question for ya:

What is your decks match-up vs. AMUPlox (Utah deck w/ Azelf MT, Uxie X, Azelf X, Mesprit X). I personally haven't tested it but, I would assume it would be 60-40 your favor.

They left out tons of good decks like Luxchomp, Donphan ERL, Palkia Lock, Dialgachomp, Gyarados and many others. Who puts steelix and tyranitar in an article without those decks. I realize that those decks are good, but they aren't played enought to make a big enough impact on the metagame, although I see an increase in those decks at worlds.

Seriously I like it that they put Steelix on that, because it is something new. You can find a lot of Luxchomp, Palkia Lock, Dialga Chomp and Gyrados lists easily.

However a Ttar deck list wouldn´t be bad.

Agreed, and especially at an event like US Nationals, Mewtwo is much more effective. mewtwo is better in top cut than swiss because you can be reasonably sure whether your opponent runs a mewtwo counter or not. The thing about US Nationals is it's easy to GET to the top cut, so mewtwo becomes effective quite quickly. At an event like worlds, where getting into top cut is really hard to start off with, Mewtwo Lv X might not be such a good play. You might gamble and get out the mewtwo, but if your opponent runs a coutner, you've put yourself in a losing position.

Very good and informative post :thumb:

I wonder why no ERL/LuxChomo lists were posted :/

Some of the more popular decks that we reviewed in our Regional Championships and State/Province/Territory Championships articles were in heavy play, but there were also several decks, both new and tried-and-true, that caught our eye.

'Chu... since they got the strat wrong, could you throw together an article that can be FP before Friday?

I agree that having knowledge of the decks and how they interact would have been helpful. Most players I htink would have given some key point strategies for recognition which could have made it better overall. Live and learn.

Got work all day everyday plus packing myself up to go back to college...so the chances of my writing an article before Friday are very slim =x sorry.

I would actually love to write an article about the era and legacy of Gardy though once it gets rotated. Look for that if I get some time.

That would be Great. Garde was definitely an Era to look at in wonder. Thanks Chu! Will be looking for it!
