Well, looks like there is a decent number of Battle Roads, I just need to figure out how my work schedule will play out now, since I'm almost finished with school (finally).

DS Side Event Tournaments
The Lacey (9/27) and Bremerton (9/28) Battle Road Tournaments will have DS side event tournaments. Rules below:
Battle Road DS TOURNAMENT:
Throughout the day, there will be a DS tournament going on. The tournament will require you to bring your own DS and game. There will be Pokémon merchandise for prizes. We will structure this tournament in a way that those people participating in the Trading Card Game tournament can still participate in the DS tournament.
RULES - You are allowed 3 Pokémon of level 70 or lower; No two of the same Pokémon;
You may only have ONE Pokemon from the following list on your team: Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo, Mew, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Lugia, Ho-oh, Celebi, Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Latias, Latios, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, Heatran, Regigigas, Cresselia, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai (NOTE: Shaymin and Arceus are not allowed since they are all event Pokemon and aren't available in the US yet.);
No duplicate held items allowed;
Healing attacks (Moonlight, Morning sun, Dream Eater, Rest, Recover, Heal Order, Heal Wish, Roost, Lunar Dance, Aqua Ring, Slack Off, Milk Drink, Soft Boiled, Ingrain, Leech Seed, Swallow, Synthesis, Wish) are not allowed after 6 minutes into the match;
"Modified” DS cartridges are not allowed (i.e. Game Shark or Action Replay).
If you use a move that causes both your and your opponents’ last remaining Pokémon to faint, you lose.
You may not switch Pokémon and/or items between matches.
Entry fee - FREE

I talked to Jim last night. Apparently he now has the ability to be in two places at the same time. Those of us who are parents really need to learn how he does this.
Hint: It is the same way Terry is/was going to be running these two tournaments

He will work Burien and Genesis Games and Gizmos...
I will work Kirkland BR and Spokane BR...
As for the Kirkland BR.....it is scheduled for Sunday Sept 21 10 am...
I have an unlimited tournament scheduled at Kirkland Sports Cards on 9/23 the day of league. It is offered if players want to play league or tournament...

There are 6...yes 6 Battle Roads schedueld for the first weekend....This is HUGE!!!!!!!! Thanks to PUI and the TOs/PTOs for volunteering to run these events...Let's hope we all have fun and remember the new format is DP forward....
See you all this weekend......

Due to the extended time required for swiss rounds, we will start taking registrations at 2:00 P.M.
So if you can arrive early, please feel free to due so. We want to start the tournament right at 3:30
P.M. Parking is limited, car pool if you can. There is a Park & Ride lot 3 blocks North of Monster Gaming.
Remember arrive early if you can.

In any case, other then the whole getting home at 11 PM after the Burien Event, I think it's going fairly well thus far. Keep it up, those of you running these crazy events~

Hey, how come you don't have a Vancouver, WA battle road scheduled? Don't neglect the southern part of your state. Talk to the Rattrays. Hold a BR in their front yard. . . :thumb:
