how about famous buildings/statues/other from each state? Sears Tower, Empire State Building, the giant "Hollywood" thingy...

OK, here's the deal. To get us going on this, you can now select an avatar from the first 251 Pokemon. We'll expand on your choices later, but we said that you'd get avatars and now you have them. Go to the "user cp" (button at the top of the page) and click "avatar" to select one. ENJOY!

Thanks! I know I got what I wanted. I'm sure some people are hoping that avatars of the new R/S will be forthcoming, but still, great start!
 
The first day of avatars and already there's a bug in the avatar selection. I've sent a full report of the problem to Big Daddy Snorlax.
 
No Bug - Just Snorlax Error :D

The spellings are fixed. As soon as we track down the 4 missing images we'll get those up too. Man this is a tough crowd. :lol:

I like how they've put in the first 251 from the Johto 'Dex, and taken them from the Trading Card Game. Jungle Scyther, Base Snorlax, and I see a few that possibly aren't from the cards, but they still look okay (some of the Nidos I've not seen on cards before, but then again, I can't've seen all of them.) Hopefully, the Hoenn 'Dex's pokemon should be available soon as well... :) Keep up the great work, Admins!!!
