Yes, yes, I know that the school year just ended but I am already spotting many Pokemon-themed school-related items around town and I wanted to share them here to make sure all of the kiddos have a chance to get them.
Hot Topic (stores and online) have a variety of school supplies. I have seen a journal, planner, pens, folders, shirts, zipper pulls, etc. Unfortunately for me the best for my elementary-aged students are the planner and folders but they are very pink and not right for my boys. I'm thinking of getting the planner anyway as it appears to be a standard size and I can get replacement pages at Office Max or the like.
Also, at KB Toys last week, we spotted a new Pokemon insulated lunch bag and backpack. There appear to be 2 sizes of the backpack. I will try to post some pics of these later.
Finally, we found a new t-shirt in the boys section of Wal-mart. It is short-sleeved red with a glow-in-the-dark group Pokémon design on the front. They had sizes XS-XL which I would estimate is about boys sizes 4-16.
If anyone else spots items, please let us know!
