Ok for all you DISBELIEVERS that are STILL out there. I tried alakazam, because i admit it was a DECENT IDEA, however, i got SMASHED 3 games out of 3 against Jermy's Blaziken r/s/ex Rayquaza deck. BTW some testing of some so called "ANTI BLAZIKEN EX DECKS" against Blaziken ex:

0-3 with Muk Ex/Wobbuffet/Roselia THE BEST version of muk btw.
1-5 with Swampert/Suicune ex.
0-3 with Alakazam.
I just don't know what to do anymore people. BLAZIKEN EX IN TE RIGHT BLAZIKEN IS BROKEN AND UNBEATBLE. It needs to be banned NOW NINTENDO. I give up. Later peeps......

I used to play the Echo theme deck but it always seemed to promise more than it delivered.

Goop Gas Attack would certainly help. It would make some of the rogue decks better as they often have space for some extra trainers.

I think someone said this before, but if you ask me, the problem isn't Blaziken ex, it's Firestarter Blaziken. Think about it. Even without Blaziken ex fully in the format yet, BAR and other Blaziken variants are already dominating the format in a style similar to Gatr's reign in Neo-on. Leave Blaziken ex alone, but do something about Firestarter!

Firestarter IS the problem, because it's accelleration. It's a problem both in this game and in Magic, which pokemon was based partialy off of. Energy accelleration causes serious problems when it is left unchecked, like with Rain Dance and Firestarter.

The problem is, Blaze was beatable w/o Blaziken EX, its now unbeatable, the only real way you can defeat one is if the player has a horrible draw. Thats the only thing that will give u the win.

Dammed if they do and dammed if they don't! The 'problem' is that we have moved away from flippy-mon :) and at the same time established the reign of the single hit KO :(. With even a little bit of synergy between pokemon, POWERS, and trainers the result is who-goes-first-wins.

Mr Mime would be nice to have back. But we end up with Psychic vs Fire untill Blastoise EX raises the ante once more.

makes note to self to PM Vincent and Nick15.. are the Japanese sets more balanced? Is the 'problem' caused by our seeing parts of each release rather than the MONSTER and its COUNTER in the same set?

Look, I don't see All the big banning or none Banning about
cards at all...Pokemon Card game is suppose to be Fun ..But
people these days...thier are at each other necks .. Yes Blaziken Ex is very
powerful ...But its a Challenge to build a deck that can Beat it ...Just like
when people was yelling about Gardervoir Ex back then..and now we found
Decks that can Beat those decks...Yes, you probadly going to Yell at me..But I
just don't care because I believe that in the next couple sets coming might have
a cards are going to beat Blaziken EX decks.. or when start banning Cards Set again
it might Hurt These Deck out there...I know an old saying: If there is a Will ..There is a Way..
Like I say Pokemon Card Game is suppose to be Fun and a Challenge...Not a War about Banning
or Non Banning Cards becuase there there powerful...

I have played agisted this so called unbeatable card and have won. Salamace and Sharpedo do a great job and throw in Cacturne who will hit him and all the Torchics while they are building. No deck is unbeatable its all in the deal of the cards. Which if you aren't cheating will always be random. Sorry no matter how much you think you control the cards you don't.

Hey don't forget Whiscash's Poke Body he can sit on the bench until he is ready and Blaz ex can't touch him while on the bench.

Whiscash is uber broke, and whenever I play it I always have this warm, fuzzy feeling inside knowing I'm going to dominant BAR and everything else with ease. >_>'

I'm just hoping no one in my area will get the cards for BAR, but of course if they do I'll just pull out Whiscash and mop up the prizes ^_^. I even took the liberty of teching in some expedition charizard (the one with the power). He covers Whiscash's weakness and he just rocks, period. I'll win my State Championships without a doubt now. >_>'

*lies* =/

The pokemon tcg world isn't ready for Whiscash yet, and probably never will be. ;_;

It's not that the deck is unbeatable. There are 4-5 deck combo's that fair well against Blaze ex. The problem is it limits the "playable" decks to water (maybe psy/water) and blaze. Decks like agron and cradily which are both good decks but fire weak just don't give you a chance in a field for of blaze. Not only that, some of the decks that can beat blaze are not that strong against other decks. So a player who wants a chance to win will most llikely play the odds and play blaze.
