or on a more serious note "not yet". My own expectation and that of other TOs is that the schedule will be similar to previous years.

If you can tell me the winning lottery numbers for next weekend then I can answer your question.:smile: On a more serious note, and to be fair to the previous management, I'm sure that was what was intended before too. Predicting the future is an imprecise science.

The role I have is one of support and coordination. I will do everything I can to avoid the hiccups of the past, but there are no guarantees. For example we very nearly didn't have sleeves available for the pre-releases. A situation that was outside the control of either myself, Esdevium, or DNA Games.

There will be bumps in the road ahead and I know I'll make mistakes. I hope that the players will just see the graceful swan on the calm waters and not the frantic flapping of webbed feet propelling the beast. I have just got back from the USA and have yet to do the email/phone ring around to find out how the pre-releases went.

Let the good times roll.....
 
The Supreme Victors Prereleases were the best organized for a long time, everything happened smoothly at Pheonix Games and the judge did a really good job. I wish you all the best for this season NoPoke, it will be tough and as you said, mistakes will be made, its how they get handled that really matters.

Just a rough guess but won't Autumn Battle Roads happen September/October time, like they did last season?

From my previous discussions with the US, what I understand you should see the date range of the 2009/10 season as the same as last year (Battle Roads should be held at the same time as last year - roughly within a four week period.)
 
Well this has just been said on pokebeach -
We have just learned that the fall Battle Roads will take place from September 21st until October 11th. They will be worth 4K like the Battle Roads last season. As usual, the victor of each individual tournament will receive a winner's card. :)

Is that for the USA, or Worldwide?
 
First UK Battle Roads could be on Saturday 19th September. Assuming the new OP guy and the TOs get their collective act together :D

Current state can be found by searching the Tournament locator for Battle Road Autumn 2009 It is still too early for a comprehensive and mostly fixed list of venues and dates.
 
I am sure the new OP Guy will post a list soonest .. or you could always search the official site ??

I recommend
checking the locator.

then either

a) blame the new op guy (that ones easy lol)
b) ask your local League/Organiser if they have applied for an event. I don't think I missed anyone off the mailshot especially as I ended up sending it out multiple times as I wasn't convinced that it was being received.
