About two weeks ago, I posted a deck idea involving using Umbreon as a cornerstone of his own deck (you can find it here). This time, I'm using it as a support Pokemon with Pokemon that like having Umbreon give them extra HP (specifically, Beartic and Snorlax).

Pokemon: (14)
2-2 Beartic Plasma
3-3 Umbreon Plasma
2 Thundurus-EX
2 Snorlax Plasma

Trainers: (32)
4 Colress Machine
4 Float Stone
3 Team Plasma Ball
3 Pokemon Catcher
2 Hypnotoxic Laser
2 Ultra Ball
1 Scramble Switch

3 Colress
3 N
3 Juniper
2 Bianca
2 Shadow Triad

Energy: (14)
4 Blend WFLM
4 Plasma
3 DCE
2 Water
1 Lightning

Strategy:
First off, you might notice my list doesn't include Deoxys-EX. This is because Beartic and Snorlax can already do astronomical amounts of damage without his support, and also because I'm playing Hypnotoxic Laser. Anyway, Umbreon is strictly a support Pokemon this time around, whereas Beartic and Snorlax are your two major attacking Pokemon. Beartic, with Umbreon's support, can take a hit from almost anything and do twice as much damage in response with Powerful Rage, or alternatively, can still do 90 and discard the top card of your opponent's deck using Glacier Drop. And I think we all know what Snorlax and Thundurus-EX do.

Because both Beartic and Snorlax have gargantuan Retreat costs, Float Stone practically becomes mandatory here. Scramble Switch can also help power up a new Beartic or Snorlax when need be.

Any helpful comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

This looks like a pretty awesome deck. I'll be honest i didn't know what beartic did so i had to look it up but when i saw its attacks, i was impressed... and this deck looks easy to gather the necessary cards for, always a plus. I just might have to run a deck similar to this one if i can't create one myself with umbreon that works well enough.

The only thing i'd question is the shadow triad supporter. I do think its a good card but wouldn't it slow down the decks momentum? I curious if it does because as i said i might have to try out a deck like this since its in my price range to build XD

Yeah, I've gone back and forth between thinking that Beartic was useless and destructive. If there was any missing link it didn't get in Plasma Storm, it's Umbreon, so if that doesn't make it good, I can't think of anything else that would help it beyond that (that will get released in the next couple sets, at least...:/).

Shadow Triad's more or less intended if you need to get back a HTL or revive a Thundurus-EX, or something like that. It's at its most useful mid- to late-game IMO.

I really hope you dont mind but i want to try out some vairations to these umbreon decks you've made. hoepfully its ok that i use them as a skeletona nd tweak them to a variation of my own playing style. cuz i really think they do ahve some potential and i like this list a lot just i always find a way to add in at least 1 tool scrapper for those pesky garbodors.

Still though from what i can see this deck is a powerhouse for sure ^^

I see your point about Tool Scrapper and Garbodor, though I doubt Garbodor's going to be the most problematic thing you have to deal with. Anyway, yeah, go ahead and try these decks yourself if you want.
