Beating AMU

Keep hitting the pixies until they break. Surprisingly Groudonk beats AMU consistently, as do Magnezone and Frosszong.
 
put a dusknoir line in. They usually throw down like 4 or 5 pokemon on their bench. Use the dusknoir to splash back the azelf or palkia(or both if you can). I normally see one Azelf on their bench and two of the uxie or mesprit and one palkia. Get rid of the Azelf and they can't use the supreme blast or whatever its called.
 
Ok, Mewtwo Lv.X is a classic, but Mightyena=OWCH. Mightyena could be used, or Luxray, 90+ for 2.
Dusknoir can also be a nightmare, as a good setup is 3+ pixies plus Tech.

luxray beats it, torterra beats it (that was actually pretty surprising), most other solid decks that can deal out consistent KO's can beat it.
 
AMU is very good and has a TON of options. Don't be so quick to say it's so easy to beat. It has weaknesses, but exploiting those weaknesses is hard when the other decks out there aren't also weakened by the same things.

AMU is definitely not going to reign, but there's a reason it's an archetype, it's still a good deck.

Well you must be testing against a bad list.
Torterra? 200 each turn!
AMU is fast, has plenty of options, the Palkia version will lock your Claydol. For me its the best deck,
with a combination of cards, for example: Mewtwo, Bronzong, etc. You could beat it, but forget about the rest of the metagame, even if AMU is the best deck, its not like Plox where anybody couldd build it, theirs six LV X, TSD, etc...

I like the new Machamp that come out, in the next set, that could be the end for AMU.
 
AMU hates Electivire Lv.X. A fast Vire Lv.X can spell doom for the pixies.

Damage for their energy drops, and no Snowpoint?

I don't think Machamp will be that much of a threat. Against Unown G, it becomes an uphill battle for Champ.
 
Anything with a solid offense and Dusknoir beats it.

The Torterra matchup is 50-50.

The thing with Torterra though is watch you energy count, dont have more than 4 energy cards on your bench.....Deep Balance is Amazing and is the reason why it beats Torterra!

And with the right AMU list, it matters not how many times Azelf X gets koed, it will be back and snipe away and kill you horriblly.

If they run a 3-1 Azelf like they should, they most certainly will.

I cannot imagine any deck that uses Sceptile beating AMU for that reason alone.
 
im pretty sure kingdra destorys amu. u just snipe everything, never give them a chance to set up and just plow through everything, i beat amu in the finals of the last battle roads i played in
 
i just play houndoom so they are scared to run AMU as a whole.

i beat 2 the other day at a battle road.

and plus houndoom OHKOs all of them. even if they have they stadium out for the +20 i usually had a pluspower or bucks
