Just wondering (as I might be going next year) what the prizes are like, and how many people tend to turn up.

So if anyone could tell me the prizes from the last Benelux and how many people turned up in each division that would be great.

Also do you have translators at the event?

There are translators at the event. Last time they were in French, Italian, German and English IIRC. Most Dutch folks speak English anyway.

2010 attendance:
18 Juniors
40 Seniors
98 Masters

2010 prizes:
Nr. 1: DSi
Nr. 2: 18 boosters
3/4: 9 boosters

Thats it.
 
Most poeple not from the area go for the points. There are no finals. Those get played by the best 8 people from the benelux area, and is unofficial (no points).

That was untill 2009, this year all players were able to reach the top cut. And the top was official.
 
And you will get the Regionals promo, which is a big plus for EU players.
 
Would have been great if it was not Top 8 on >100 masters. Hope this problem gets fixed next year, since Benelux Cup is a big experience for everyone. ;)
 
We did. I don't see why we wouldn't have.

Before 2010, they would handpick (T4 NL vs T4 BE) the topcut players. This year they changed it to a regular top cut.
 
that didn't happen in 2010, just a normal t8, WITH POINTS.

must be hard to live with small brains.
 
Benelux cup 2011

Dear All,

we will very appreciate any details of Benelux CUP 2011 if already available.

Especially the date, country and city.

Several Czech players from all categories would like to attend in next year and basic data are welcome in advance for duly planning.

Information of the Benelux Cup will be posted when all information of organization is available.

Any not yet confirmed information only can cause not-wanted discussions as unfortunately happened in the past weeks about the Prague tournament.
