Hi guys ! I have change my thread a little bit. Forget about polling !!!

We have a tournament this weekend. A booster draft.

I want to know what cards should be the best to pick in a boosters draft? (Great Encounter Expansion).

1-Best common card?
2- Best uncommon card?
3- Best combo or strategy for draft ?

Please answer in large numbers !!!

Thanks.

And lock the thread because it;s a poll.

Ill say to be nice.
Common: Lunasol iglybuff luvdisc
Uncommon: porygon2
rare: ANY

ummm....... I'm not sure..... ask a mod or wait for one to tell you...... maybe in the section,"single cards strategys" and it has alot of other stuff for the section name.

Common: Lunatone/Solrock
Uncommon: Depends on the color of choice. Unowns are pretty versatile, but setuppers like Igglybuff and Delibird are a need for every deck. You'll propably pick your main attackers from uncommon, so just go for what you have thick enough line and can get out consistently.
Rare: Claydol and Wailord are the top stuff, Tangrowth tagging along.

Strategy: Well, draw 4 prizes before your opponent. There's no best strategy, just know your deck and play accordingly. If you have a monster (Wailord, Tangrowth), stall and load. If you don't, try to take early prizes fast and stack damage against the big one (try to save something that has at least a change against your opponent - Hariyama is a nice counter-uncommon for those big two).

Don't rely on stage 2s too much, they're more like an added bonus if you happen to get one out. Basics and Stage 1s do all the dirty work, stage 2 is more like for sweeping/pwning purposes.

Thanks for all the replies.

I had think about Lunatone / Solrock. Fast energy setup for bigger Fighting pokemon. They hit fast too. 20 damage for one nrg.

What about illumise and volbeat ? 30 damage for 2 nrg and 80 HP basics.

Off to Card Strategy since you do not have a deck (which the rules clearly state).

If you get both of them and 1-2 Felicity's Drawing, they should be really good, because you can draw 3-4 cards a turn once you got them out.

Uncommon: porygon2
Porygon2 in limited format... no way. There is only one Supporter in GE and most players won't pull out more than 2-3.

-edit-

Butterfree is really great in limited if you get the line.

Oh. And what about Skarmory ? (Uncommon) 70 HP 20 damage for 1 nrg and chance to remove an nrg on defending pokemon with flip.

It all depends on what you pull anyway. So you could devise all kinds of ingenious tactics only to find that you don't pull the right stuff.
