now if you guys know me, you know i know error cards

i have never seen or heard of these

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=60238&item=6162998713&rd=1

this seller also has a number of other cards like this

now, ive looked at the pictures for a long time, and i cant tell if they are fakes or errors. The text looks good, and it appears to have the correct copy rights on the bottome. Also the card stock apears to be good, and all the card info is correct(hp, attack, stat ect) so i just dont know

i might pick them up just to see, if i do, ill let you guys know what i find

EX employee who tampered with printing machines? Maybe
Well made fakes? Probably
Legit errors? I doubt it

Why would only this person have them and they go so long without being known. As for the Dark Alakazam that says 86/82, read the actual auction and it says its 18/82..... me thinks this person is scamming and getting confused as they do it!

I say that's a tell tale sign if ever there were one.

The seller even said there were visable creases on the cards so that drops the value a lot. And the chances of a mistake like this are like nill to none. Sometimes when I see a rip off I want to slap a stiker on the person for all to see which would say "I AM A BIG SCAMMER LOOKING FOR ALL YOUR MONEY."

I wonder how many sales he'd get then.

You never know what it could be. They're most likely stickers, because they look a little too real to be mad by someone's printer. Then again, I've heard of weirder stuff and have seen weirder stuff. Don't forget the tim e someone was selling empty packs on E-Bay.

I've been watching these auctions too and I have the same concerns. I find it highly unlikely that there are errors like this that nobody has ever heard of and this seller has a whole pile of them. A little too fishy for me. I've contacted the seller and he can't exactly verify their legitimacy, but he did offer a money-back satisfaction guarantee...

I have almost all base set holos in non-holo version. They came from the boosters and they look real. But they're not. They're fake. When you look at them against the light, they don't pass the test. At the early days of Pokemon counterfits (including booster packaging) were manufactured in China and some other places. The only problem was that it was expensive to put fake holo on them. I don't know if these particular ones are the same.

they're fakes! back then the holo style was different! these use the newer holo style.

Yep I noticed that right away as well.

There's also a break in the foil right above Spearow's wings.

Are these being sold by Mr. Naught Reeul?

A dollar store near my house is selling these cards in a vending machine, Old cards made holo with the newer holo design ("Cosmo" as opposed to "Stary") You can't tell because of the poor picture, but when you look at them, they look like the picture is like deep into the card, like the text and HP part was glued on top. Totally fake.
