Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Best First Wii Game

I'll be playing SMG on the 7th. :3 I got a chance to go to the Nintendo store at that time and they always get things early. :D

Long story short, Battle Revolution is Pokemon Stadium with online play.

No way, PBR lacks all of the things that made Stadium great, like minigames.

And as for the Wii Sports issue, I could play Wii Sports and Wii Play for hours on end. I paid 10$ (net) for Wii Play, but I would've paid more. Same goes for Wii Sports.

To be fair, it also lacks everything that made XD and Colosseum terrible, like story. So, I think it was probably an even trade-off.

Colosseum and XD were no RBY/GSC/RSE, that's for sure. However, if PBR had had a story mode, it wouldn't have sucked so badly (and by that I mean, you could play it for more than fifteen or twenty minutes without getting sick of it).

Well, yeah. PBR isn't good for much by one's self. However, at, say, a Pokemon Club, it becomes the prefered way to battle. Except when, y'know, it constantly drops the players. . . 'cause that really sucks. >_>

Zelda: Twilight Princess
Zack and Wiki
Metroid Prime 3
Mario Galaxy (when it's released)

As for PBR, I bought it and played it for a little over an hour or so and then sold it on ebay, it's not a good game and a waste of time and money.

Twilight Princess is good, Sonic and the Secret Rings isn't bad, TMNT is kinda fun if you like all the old TMNT games. Everything is mission style in it though. SSBB will be great when it comes out.

I DO own a Wii so your theory of "olol xbox elitist" goes out the window, I only express my frustration of its lack of good games, right now it has 2, and by the end of the year and probably until the next Christmas it'll stay at 4. Who cares if Wii Sports is free, it's still a bad game, if somebody gave me ET for free it would still suck, why would I waste my time on bad wii-freebies when I have an Xbox full of good online games that have major re playability because of that, but I do need to finish Zelda so I guess it'll tide me over until next week when the Wii starts being worth playing again

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. Have any of you played Zelda,Elebits,Excite Truck, ect. daily and recently? The 360's online play offers so much longevity to a game its not even funny. I've been playing Gears of War at least weekly since January, and I'm still not tired of it.

I LOVE how your entire list consists of virtual console games. All those games have been available for years, most fans already own them.

On that note the games in the shop channel are just a complete joke compared to the 360's marketplace. Every month they release fresh new titles, with unique concepts. You know the new geometry wars coming out for the wii? The Marketplace has had it for at least a year and constantly releases titles of equivalent or greater magnitude.Even the classics like pacman, joust, root beer tapper, ect. are on there as well.

Mario Galaxy-yeah looks like an excellent game for the wii.(Lets hope it offers something in the online department, or something else giving me a reason to touch it a year from now unlike Zelda:TP)They need to create games like that on at least a quarterly basis however.

Mario Galaxy has no online. It doesn't need it since it's a single player game (there is a two player mode, but one player just uses the pointer to do things). If you want some online Wii games, try Strikers or BWii.

As for Virtual Console vs Xbox Live Marketplace that's an apple to oranges comparison. VC was never intended to be more than what it is: a way to distribute old games. However, early next year, Nintendo will be starting up another download service where new games will be made available. Known games include a Final Fantasy CC game, Dr. Mario, Pokemon Ranch, and plenty others.

umm ok, this has become a bit 360 vs Wii lolz PS3 outside the box looking in as its library is god awful now.

First game you should get if you havent gotten the wii yet by now lol Galaxy would be my pick cause its mario so expect it to be basic, havent played the game yet but from what i heard it doesnt apply or force the wii remote system down your throat so it will get you comfortable with using the remote.

Its pretty dumb to compare the Wii to the 360. Moltres is talking about online this and that, guy our arcade selection is awful lolz Well the VC console has a ton of REAL GREAT CLASSICS!!!! (though i have most of them in their original system so its not that big for me but not many have more snes games then i do >.>) Xbox having the better games!? Seriously for the past few months IF YOU DONT COUNT FPS games then i have wanted NOTHING for the 360. Hate to admit it as i was like one of the first to get the 360 when it just came out but their library is vastly overrated :-( Seriously the must haves.....all fps >.>

Wii is a bit different. They came out way after the 360 but yet IMO have a MUCH better library. How can i say that? Well i look at what are the must haves each system has, xbox if you dont count fps really have none >.> Wii has Zelda tp, Metriod 3, Mario Galaxy and if you havent played Resident Evil 4 GO GET IT!!! its just 30 buxs and its WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! A MUST HAVE!!!!!

Anyways to be honest, if you like FPS GO GET THE 360!!! Gears of War and Halo 3+online=timeless fun. If you just want a diverse system with different types of good games get the Wii. Btw Brawl lolz and dont wait for brawl though the library the wii has now is MORE then good enough.

P.S-Wii Sports really isnt a game as it is more of a family activity imo Like if your always alone then dont bother, but with a bunch of family members its so fun and so simple that just about anyone in your family can play it. It appeals to the non gamers so its more of a gimmick then a game but still fun as **** (though i never play it everyone else in my family does lol)
