Best way to build a modified playset?

Hi,

I'm new to the PTCGO, so I was just wondering the best way to come up with a playset of 4x of each playable card in modified. By playable I mean any card that has potential use in a tournament, Should I buy codes on eBay? I saw the news article posted a few months ago saying that beginning with Plasma Storm, booster credits from that set can only be redeemed for a digital booster of the same set, not any set like it was previously. So if eBay is the way to go, should I go for codes that are older than Plasma Storm? Or what? Thanks for your help :cool:

Those two bolded get you a few things I forgot some of them but they are free
