Better tech for GG...

come on people.
THE tech for GG is Island Hermit.
what happens if Gallade is prized?
you cant do anything.
but if you play Island Hermit...

but my favorite is prolly the dusknoir.
it makes my deck (queenhatter w/ techs) against it go from like a 55-45 in my favor, to like 75-25 in their favor.
 
The problem with Gatr is that you need a lot of Energies in your hand for its Energy Cyclone attack to work well. It's simply too shotgun.

How is Gatr difficult to use? Remember, you have "2" Roseannes at your disposal, effectively gaining 4 energy in a single turn with great ease.
 
Here are the techs for GG, that I would conisder playing -

1-0-1 Empoleon - It can help against Magmortar but there are better choices IMO
1-0-1 Feraligatr - I actually like Empoleon a bit more but I would not use this.
1-1 Cresselia Lv. X - Until you have played this card in GG, you can't comment on it. The ability to move 1 DMG per turn can be deadly if you know what your doing.
1-0-1 Dusknoir - I really like this tech. It can help majorly late game and hurts most deck that play big bench's.
1-1 Mismagius - Only really good for mirror, and it isnt even the best tech.
1-0-1 Blastoise d - First off, if you ever suggest this card, you should quit pokemon right now. This is the worst tech that is a St2 so far. Okay, you think that Blastoise d, helps you against Banette and Mirror. Your wrong, for the time it takes to focus on getting out early game, (because that is when you need to get it out so you can have it the whole game) Banette has taken 1-2 prizes and Mirror has everything setup and has superior board control. Atleast with Dusknoir you can come back if your opponent has superior board control.

Mawile GE and Sableye CG are 2 other techs you could consider. I think you get that I think that Dusknoir is the best tech for the deck, however I really like Cresselia Lv. X also.

dusknoir is HANDS DOWN the best tech for G&G decks, but id say only if you had furret. you could easily search for duskull, dusknoir, and rare candy, or search for the remaining two, assuming you hve one. when they hve their whole bench filed and you just take out their best crd, it puts a sad look on their face.

also, if you have gallade out, you can use sonic blade. if you dont have gardy x out to kill it, then you shuffle it into their deck, as what was their active is now their benched.

WHAT?!?!?!?! that is the absolute WORST for G&G.

first off, you would have more then one gallade so its not prized. second, it would destroy the power of gallade if you flipped them over!

cresselia x is a waste of a good card in this deck. sure, you get two prizes, but remember gallade puts it 50 AWAY from knocking it out, and cresselia only does 40. and dont tell me to add pluspower JUST for cressy, thats a waste.

LOL i think the island hermit was a joke and with cresselia it moves damage counters so u dont need the plus power! LOL:lol::lol::lol:

doesnt do anything against magmortar but is handy against darkrai and mirrormatches

Actually, Empoleon barely helps against Magmortar.

Spreading damage isn't very effective on their main attacker, because of Magmortar's Flame Body.
Aqua Jet won't OHKO Magmortar, unless you have Lake Boundary in play.
Ice Blade takes two turns to KO their support lines, which is a turn too long in most cases.
Heck, if they play Typholosion, you're just going to lose your energy as soon as they bring their Firestarter active.

Empoleon's not a good tech for Magmortar. No, it's for the deck that gives Gardevoir troubles. You know, the deck that has a main hitter with 80 HP (so Aqua Jet + Pluspower or Hydro Impact is OHKO), and the main hitter's pre-evolution has 40 HP (easy Ice Blade bait if they don't ascend immediately).

50 away from KO... 40 damage attack... how can a pokemon with shady move be able to do 10 more damage!?
