Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Black & White tins contains:

Argh! I could've got these yesterday when I was out? And omg the games are already out! I need to pick that up tooooooooooo!

Oshawott

Water Pulse: 20
Flip a coin. If heads, the defending pokemon is now asleep.

I wish they'd get the attacks right one of these days. Should be confused, ha.

Are these available yet? If so, I'm going to pick one up today, or maybe even two! I want Tepig and Oshawott haha.

I cannot get over the fact that something in the cards´ font and layout makes me think it´s fake, though I know very well they are genuine.
Also, the yellow borders look strange for some peculiar reason and the relocating of the retreat cost and renaming it just seems odd.

Oh well, I suppose you can adjust to card graphics if the cards are good enough.

Just picked these up at Target. They had them priced wrong and I got them for $8.99 each! The figures are top notch and the cards look much nicer in person.

I got the Tepig one at a Toys R Us. Was looking in the area for the strategy guide for Black/White.

It was $17.99.

Got a Hippowodon Lv. X in one of the packs. Which seems to be a very common occurance when I buy
the tins/box products.

Will probably pick up the other 2 later on.

I find it interesting that Patrat is #78. That means we're getting a second Patrat (There was a promo one in Japan). Makes me hopeful about getting some of the other promos they've gotten.

@Jason: I'm not sure there will be energy in this set. 1) There were energy in the last set, albiet super rare, and 2) The Japanese Promos so far only have 4 energy, not the full 8. That is, unless they finally decide to give us the Arceus Movie energy. Not to mention, the numbers are so odd this set that fitting in the energy would mean getting rid of Trainer's cards, which would just be sad. :< I'd rather have Pokemon Catcher than another Fire energy.

So do I. They remind me of the base set era cards. I liked those cards.

I like the look, including the borders. It's kind of old school (borders) with a little twist of the modern (text positioning).

I kinda like it, something new and fresh. Kinda looks like the old cards from older days doesn't it?

The reason they look like the older cards is probably because B/W was supposed to be like RBGY, but with modern twists.

I think it looks cool.

I thought that was kind of disappointing. Between all my friends, we cracked four tins and ended up with the same pokemon cards.

Oh well, the figure in the tin is pretty cool, and it's nice to have a tin for all your junk.

Same cards in what?? The BW preview pack is supposed to have the same cards. It isn't a "random" preview.

I was going to get a tin but it seems it stinked so much. I will just wait to the prerealse. I can't belive they have Pokem on that are going to be named Starbucks and Verizon!

Love the little figures.

From the single Majestic Dawn pack I got in one of the tins, I got a Garchomp LV.X and an Unown Q.

Other stuff:
Absol Prime
Phanphy
Holo Basic Metal Energy

lol If that's how you want to read it...

EDIT: Geez, it seems like many people are selling these preview packs on eBay for quite the price, and people are buying them...
