Hello! So I went to my second city championship two days ago using this deck. My first cities, I was 4-1, mulliganed 6 times in one game and 4 times on the game where I lost, this was because I didn't have the pokemon I needed and ended up placing 5 out of a top cut of 4. My second cities, I went 5-2 losing to a dakrai/hydreigon and klingklang deck. I would like to know if there is anything I can do to make this deck better.

KELDEO/BLASTOISE

Pokemon - 14

Keldeo EX x3
Blastoise 4-1-3
Bouffalant DRX x1
Mewtwo EX x2

Supporters - 15

Juniper x4
N x4
Skyla x4
Bianca x2
Cilan x1

Items- 17

Catcher x3
Energy retrieval x3
Super scoop up x4
Rare candy x3
Ultra ball x3
Tool scrapper x1

Energies - 14

Water x12
DCE x2

Strategy- Try and get a turn 2 blastoise than start powering up Keldeos and Mewtwos for 2 turn knockouts, and one turn knockouts if energies show up. Bouffalant is for sigilyphs.

I decks I lost to on the second cities kept max potioning and catchering my squirtles out seeing how they got a turn 2 klingklang and hydreigon up while I had no chance of getting a blastoise out.

I think you should drop 1 Squirtle and the Bouffalant for 2 Kyurem NVI because they really help and I play Keldeo/Blastoise at my local tournament and it works miracles. Also drop 1 Juniper and 1 DCE for 2 Sigilyph. Drop Cilan, an Ultra Ball and Tool scrapper for 3 Random Receiver. Anyways your list should look something like this:

Keldeo Ex x 4
Blastoise x 3
Wartortle x 1
Squirtle x 3
Kyurem x 2
Sigilyph x 2

Pokemon: 15

N x 4
Juniper x 3
Skyla x 3
Bianca x 2
Random Receiver x 3

Supporters: 15

Energy Retrieval x 3
Super Rod x 2
Pokemon Catcher x 4
Gold Potion x 1 (Computer Search is horrible, I own 2 trust me)
Ultra Ball x 2

Trainers: 12

Water Energy x 14
Prism Energy x 4

Energy: 18

I leave this list to you to customize to suite your needs.

That List is interesting. The prism and sigilyph could definitely buy you some time while your opponent hunts for catchers or ultra balls for non-ex pokemon.

I highly recommend 4 squirtles. You can even consider ditching wartortle if you want to keep your pokemon list shorter.
People will hunt your squirtles DOWN. and it sucks to be without one.

Also, kyurem is a LOT of fun. I had a hard time taking mine out, but it is a lot of fun to dish 30 to all of your opponents pokemon.

You might even try hiding your kyurem in your hand until blastoise is ready to go. If your opponent doesn't see it they might fill their bench up. Kyurem is also a terrific counter to Sigilyph.

Even though scoop up is the best card for this deck, it relies on flips which is the WORST way to lose a game.

I personally pulled my scoops because they were wasting so much space in the deck.

Kyurem may be fun, but I don't think it's worth it. I would take out the Bouffalant for a Keldeo BCR47, as it is a great Sigilyph counter and does more for your deck than Bouffalant would.
