Blaze question

I realize that blaziken is a very popular deck type. But i tried one out and it didn't seem to work too well. What exactly are u supposed to do with a blaze deck? What is the strategy behind it?

the strategy is to use engry draw and tv reporter to get energy to discard pile and use firestarter
to retrive fire energy and put it on team auqas manatric to power shift to rayquza ex then use energy
burst to do a lot of damage

There are a few other primary attackers you can use in the deck as well. Blaziken EX is very popular and since it runs off Torchic like the Firestarter Blaziken you don't have to run a whole new basic line to make it work. Other fire pokémon that have discards to do big damage can work too, like Ninetails EX.
