Blaziken FB LV.X Counter?

My deck has a huge weakness to Blaziken FB LV.X, and pretty much every other fire Pokemon. What do you recommend to counter it/them?

Glalie AR. Requires a stadium. One colorless retreat, and can use DCE for 70.

Empoleon FB. Water + DCE. 2 Retreat. Basic. 60 if you played a supporter.

Slowbro HGSS. Use this if you're using Psychic pokemon in your deck.

Thanks for the suggestions! Empoleon FB would fit in perfectly in my deck, if I could only afford the DCEs.

It depends on your deck. Some techs include:

Glalie (SV) (Already mentioned) - It's attack only costs 2 colorless energies, so it's an easy fit in many decks. Just make sure you play enough stadiums. Since it's Water type, be careful about activating Vapor Kick.

Empoleon FB (Already mentioned) - If you're running an SP deck, this is probably a good fit, especially if you're running SP Energy. Again, watch Vapor Kick.

Dewgong SV - It's first attack costs a water and colorless energy, so you may need to dedicate some energy in the deck towards it. It's also a great Donphan counter and decent Machamp counter if you ever run into them. Vapor Kick, while a threat to other Pokemon, only does 30 to Dewgong due to its Thick Fat PokeBody. Dewgong can 2-hit KO Blaziken. And if they Jet Shoot, all you need is some way to do 10 extra damage (PlusPower/Expert Belt/Flash Bite) and you can OHKO Blaziken

Exploud SV - I'm assuming you're having trouble with weakness. This gets rid of it.

Metapod HS - Weakness again, if you're Grass type.

Machamp SF - A classic SP counter. Not an easy fit in many decks, but a beast for SP to deal with nonetheless.

The only way to give good techs for countering specific cards is to know what deck you're playing. Doesn't have to be a decklist, but having a quick "here's what my deck is and does" would make this much more productive then just throwing ideas out that may or may not work for you.

Simply doing 70 will be able to take it down. You can bring this number down to 50 if you run Expert Belt in your deck. Blaziken FB Lv. X is fast, but after a Jet Shoot, you really shouldn't have too much of a problem taking it down.

Quagsire gl is my favorite. He OHKOs blaziken after a jet shoot. You can switch him to the bench then, so he doesnt get ko-ed. Not only that, his body makes him invulnerable to all damage when he is on the bench, so a card like luxray gl x can target quagsire for the recoil.

Before Jet Shoot- do 110 damage to the Lv.X or 80 to the Base form
After Jet Shoot- Do 70

Dragon Rush? Bright Look and Draggy it? Promocroak? I haven't a clue wut your deck is, so I can't help more than that. Or maybe...it's Luring Flame that's so dangerous =o

It's really not that hard, a flash impact with a bat 1 shots it, and you should have a think that can do 70 usually.

Also, if you use Grass pokemon, play Metapod HGSS. It'll eliminate weakness for all your grass types.

Dunno if you're using Metal though. If you are, I approve.
