BEX's fix is better for the more-mature player. Younger players (unless highly skilled) will find your original version (without Pidgeot) a bit easier to play. However, keeping simplicity in mind, I'd modify your version thus:

+1 Combusken
+1 Blaziken
-1 Great Ball
+1 Pokemon Reversal
-1 Fire
-1 Lightning

If you're short on Blazikens, consider either:

1. buy a Battle Stadium
2. use a Pokemon Retriever
