Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

blissey,will it see play?

With the bigger format I'm wondering what it ran with in Japan.

Anyway I don't think that Delcatty is the combo here. Probably Typhlosion or, later on, Blastoise (dp3). Fighting weakness would be less of an issue there.

DP 3 Blastoise would be amazing with this card.

REPRINT ELECTRODE EX...and then maybe this card gets playable. I honestly wish it was more viable, but even with Blastoise, I don't see Blissy going too far. When you factor in Mario, and other variants, it'll get out sped in the end.

Tego what did the Japanese players run with Blissy?

LOTS of different stuff, but the two strongest Blissey decks seem to be:

- Solo Blissey (4 Chansey, 4 Blissey, no other Pokémon) with Holon Energy WP and tons of Trainers
- Blissey, Fire Energy, Arcanine (DP3)

Interesting. Thanks!

I like that Arcanine, but who knows when DP3 will hit.

i think blissey will see play if the text is either

1) get back as many basic energy as you'd like

2)get ANY energy back

what do you think?
i think #2 would be great just so we can get boosts back.

Hi mate, according to the text ....
Both were not correct.

They did not use Happiny?

Four basics seems risky despite Chansey's HP.

I get the idea on Arcanine though.

There could be some nice combos on the Blissey. At the prerelease just recently I pulled it read it and moved on. The next pack I pulled the Typhlosion, w/ Firestarter (Which also pokemon like Blaziken [PK] had and he made you discard even more energy on the attack) . It made me think about it a bit more. You could play it like a Infernape deck (meaning with all the Delicatty TV reporter and such things) and use the firestarter and Blissey to pull the energy back. It could work but it just might not be the greatest deck ever.
