Breeding Miltank

Will Miltank ever produce male offspring (which should be the species of the male of the breeding pair)? So far my Ampharos-Miltank matchup has been producing nothing but Miltank.

Miltank are female only. The only thing your going to get breeding a Miltank is more female Miltanks.

Actually, the offspring is always of the female of the pair.

What I meant by that was that if the pair produced male offspring, since all Miltank are female, that the species would revert to whatever the male was. This happened for me in Silver when I bred two Nidoran and got a Nidoran Male. Nidoran Female are always female, so I figured that any male offspring would be whatever the male was.

The reason that happened is because Nidoran M and Nidoran F are considered the same species in the new games.
