This would make blastoise tier one. Just a single stage two sniping for 100 damage a turn? Yes please.

Would also further break magnezone prime
 
Evolution isn't nearly as big of a deal as Energy. Evolution has a limit to it. Even if you can do it "as much as you want", there's only so much evolution you can do.

Energy doesn't. If you have Energy, you can play it.

This would be absolutely ridiculous. =\
 
Lugia Legend wouldn't be so bad as you would still need 3 different types of Basic Energy in your hand per turn to use it.

Infernape MD, Zone Prime, and Blastoise would be beyond stupid though.

This is virtually unlimited cost-free Energy acceleration and would obviously be utterly terrible for the game.
 
Don't forget the new Magmortar, deck out the opponent, and pair with energy returner/fisherman/palmer/etc

Now a good way to balance this would to be "one additional energy" per turn.
 
once only + coin flip, yeah... There aren't many cards that let you just straight attach from hand (Stage 1 Lv. X Power)...

Lady Outing, which was a star player in my Articuno ex, Zapdos ex and Moltres ex with VS Seeker breaks Lugia with that card.
