It seems that now the default view for Subscribed Threads is "New Threads" - use the link at bottom right to 'view all subscribed threads', and you should see the view you're accustomed to :wink:.
 
I'm not really sure how to explain this. It's not really a bug, just something that's bugging me.

It used to be that, whenever you logged in, the next time you logged in, only posts made between the logins would be considered "new". Now, it considers all posts that you haven't read as "new". This is something that bugs me, as I don't read every single topic on the gym; far from it, actually.

Whoops.....got confused. :redface:

Whenever I go to User CP, it comes up with all of the posts that have been made in my suscribed threads. If I make a reply there, in the past the thread would become unbolded. Now if I make a reply, it just dissappears until another post is made. Is that supposed to happen?
 
Don't know if this has been posted yet, but every time I come here, I get the main page and then it automatically takes me to http://www.pokegym.net/profile.php which "can not be displayed." Hitting the back button on the browser just redirects me to that page again. I don't know WHAT I did that I finally managed to get on here. x_X

What URL, exactly, are you trying to access?
 
I have a question/possible bug/error.

Ok when I go back into a post I just made to edit it, and save. Sometimes it doesnt do anything at all. Then when I log out and log back in, it has all the information ive saved. It wont just update the post right then and there. ( this has happened to me 3 times already since yesterday ).

Thanks 'Gym for the wonderful Updates. I love 'em ;)

Whoa! Don't know what to say!

Lessee, sorry that these procedures are voodoo, but I can't figure this error out. Please, try this and let us know:
  1. go to: http://pokegym.net (no www.) and see what happens.
  2. Wind your way in and log out. Then come back and log in.
ALSO, you might post (or PM me) with your browser and operating system versions. Try using a different browser (e.g. Firefox if using IE or Safari) and see what happens.

Very puzzling.

The new board uses 'AJAX' which is a Javascript technology; maybe that's giving a problem with your browser? Would you like to post your O/S version and Browser version for me (or PM if you prefer)? Try using the 'switch editor mode' button (upper right of the edit box) and let us know if that helps.

Well, the standard comeback is "that's not a bug, its a feature". :rolleyes:

Somethingelse (thanks!) gives you the workaround. The idea is that if you're gone for a while, you can catch up.

Did everything you suggested short of changing my browser, which I really don't want to do (I have IE). ;_; It seems to be coming and going. It stopped for a while when I logged out and in, then started back up again.

Since no one else seems to have posted it I figured it was one of those completely insanely random errors. XD

It's annoying but I can deal with it.

Edited to add that I've got Windows XP.

I have:
Windows ME
Internet Explorer

I am not having the problem at the moment ( I have only edited 1 message since the problems with no probs )

I wonder if it is my browser that doesnt like the AJAX =/
 
About the editor errors, I'll keep looking into it the vB. PM me if you want me to hijack your account, try it with my setup, then put your PW back. Sometimes these things are account based, but most often due to firewall, spyware or problems on the client.
 
PokeGym Forum Glitches/Bugs...

Hello, I'm not sure which area I'm supposed to post this in, or who to contact...

For some reason, my trade thread is bugged up. When I go to just view the thread, it shows posts that I made the previous day, but does not show my recent posts that I made today. Also when looking at the trading thread index, it says that Gatsu was the most recent person who replied, but when I go into my thread, it shows that I was the most recent person to reply to that thread.

On another note, when I click on Gatsu's name on the main index of the trading post, it jumps right to my public profile instead...

Also, whenever I make a reply to my thread, THEN I can see my new posts and new posts that other people made, but when I go back or exit the page and try to come back in, the same thing happens where it only shows my posts that I made yesterday... Again I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I don't know who the webmasters are to contact regarding this problem....
