Bugs and Errors

The more fun part of my bio got mysteriously deleted. I'm going to take the optimistic viewpoint and assume that the surgical removal was the result of a bug.
 
Yeah, I can only see a few of them as well...

Edit: I can see them now, so it must have been fixed.

I don't know if it belongs here or not, but I clcked on views, and now it sorted them how many views, and how little views. btw, it was in the Touney discussion thread. I think I messed it up forever...
 
Ok, sorry for the triple post, but I have a big problem now. When I tried putting in "TEAM ROCKET", it said something like: "BB code size too big." And I even deleted my entire sig! (except for the Team Rocket thing) I need it fixed or else I'll probally get kicked off :frown: .
 
This is kinda weird, but everytime I type Pokegym with the apostrophy, it puts an unwanted slash in the middle, like so Poke\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'gym.

Also, for the past couple days, I try to go to Pokegym and it tells me the page cannot be displayed and at the bottom of the screen it just says searching for...(insert Pokegyms IP here) The only way I have found that will let me get to Pokegym is through an IP server. Is there any reason for this?

The unwanted slash is not just when I type pokegym but when i type any apostropy:
Ex. \\\\\\\' \\\\\\\' \\\\\\\'
and I only hit the apostrophy key.
Also every time I edit my posts the slashes multiply.

I cant visit pokegym on Firefox at all...don't really understand why. I cant reply, quote, or edit my posts or anything and I cant see any avatars what-so-ever and I cant see any toolbars (on the site, such as: Bold, Underline, Italic, Center, etc.)

That's likely to be an issue with your installation of Firefox. Haven't heard of anything that might help you, or of others having the same problem, sorry!
 
can't edit posts?

can anyone else not edit older posts? i just triued to edit my h/w list and teh button has dissapeared, but i just posted in a thread on Single CArds & Strategies and it will let me edit it. I also notice that there is a blue bar between stickies and other threads now, so i suppose we got updated, and thats prolyl teh root of this. Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, I have this problem as well. It causes me a lot of inconvienience for my fanfic.

Would someone please tell us what the heck is going on?
 
Same problem here with my Werewolf topic. I can't edit the front page of it and its going to cause a decent bit of inactivity in the game. Thanks for any help, mods!
 
There seems to be a problem with the Signatures. I currently have 6 lines. When I shorten it to 4 Lines, it says I have more than 5 lines. I'm TRYING to make it this:

Obviusly(Spelt Wrong) without the Quote and the spaces..

Just keep working with it until it fits. See Absoltrainer as an example.
 
I tried to put a picture in the member fakes and after I put it the info I got a message saying:

IVALID FILE

then it asked if I wanted to retry I pushed retry and then it said:

Your picture has been uploaded. A moderater will need to veiw it before it is put on the site.


Did something mess up or did it work?

Hm Hm Seems to contradict itself; that's not good.

Well you have nothing I could find by 'search' in the Gallery, and the mod queue is empty, so try again.

Try saving is as a .jpg file with a one word name.

What was the full name (and file type if you know it) of the file you tried to upload?
 
How come i can't go to page 416 in "Good old one sentence add on"? I click on the "416: then it doesn't do anything...
 
I've noticed two bugs recently -- both started in just the last couple weeks. Maybe it's something on my end (e.g. browser) but I don't think so. I haven't changed anything on my PC for months.

First, a strange "undefined" popup box. If I click the "Log Out" link from any place on the forum, a box pops up saying, "Are you sure you want to log out?" That's expected. But if I "log out" from the home page, the popup box says "undefined", with OK and Cancel buttons.

This second one is more difficult to work around, and I'm not sure what causes it? I can't use any of the "Format" options when making a post (or replying). The "drop down boxes" such as fonts, sizes, and colors are empty when I click the arrow. None of the options on the second line (bold, indent, numbers, link, etc.) seem to work either. I'm able to enter the VB code manually if I want something to be bold (for example), but that's really a pain because I only know about 1/2 of the code options available.

When making a post, the only thing that works right is the smiley icons. :confused: Any ideas?
