This deck uses Regigigas and Mewtwo as main attackers, with terrakion for revenge and for pesky electric type deep black pokemon among other things. Reuniclus moves damage around, preventing gigas and mewtwo from being KOd as quickly. Please give suggestions from BW on, as this is in preparation for the next coming rotation. I have no proof that they will drop all the HS sets, but I'm just trying to be on the safe side. Dark Explorers cards and Dragon Selection cards are welcome for suggestions. Critiques are always welcome, as I don't want to build a deck that is doomed to fail.

And yes, I'm still working on the name.

*here's ultra ball:

Ultra Ball- Item

Discard 2 cards from your hand. Search your deck for a Pokémon, show it to your opponent, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.

**here's random receiver:

Random Receiver- Item

Reveal cards from your deck until you reach a Supporter card. Put that card in your hand, and shuffle the cards you revealed into your deck.

Just being honest here, but wouldn't Eelektrik help you out a lot more here? Using Ultra Ball to discard Electrics, which you could replace the Electrics with the fighting and Psychic. Then using Eel's to attach to Terrakion/Mewtwo/Regigigi.

So would 2-2 Eelektrik be enough, or are you suggesting that I drop reuniclus and add 3-3?

I noticed that I only have 3 supporters, so random reciever probably wouldn't help. What supporters should I add/what should I replace with the RRs?

how about:

-3 Random Receiver
-1 Super Rod

+2-2 Eelektrik

I think a 3-3 Eel works best, and I honestly do not see the point of Reuniclus. Sure, you could move damage onto Regigigi EX, and then use his attack, but that requires quite a bit of resources. But then you are giving your opponent the opportunity to KO your Regigigi EX easier (Most of the time).
As far as the Random Receivers, i think you'd end up showing your opponent most of your deck before you even hit a supporter.
As supporters go though, i'd say at least 3 Cheren, 3 N, and definitely some Prof. Juniper.
If you added those, i'd keep a Random Receiver or two.

Here's the list i can come up with:
4-3 Eelektrik
2 Terrakion
2 Regigigi EX
2 Mewtwo EX
13

4 Ultra Ball
2 Level Ball
3 Switch
4 Eviolite
4 Pokemon Catcher
1 Super Rod
2 Random Receiver
3 Professor Juniper
3 Cheren
3 N
2 Bianca
31

8 L
4 DCE
4 Prism
16

I think that's definitely a good starting list, and can get better from there.
A few Pokemon i can recommend to play in here are Zekrom EX, Zekrom, and Thundurus. They all have great synergy with Eelektrik, and can help get the energy in the discard just as much. If you were to build that type of list, here's what i'd recommend:

4-3 Eelektrik
2 Zekrom BW
1 Zekrom EX
2 Mewtwo EX
1 Regigigi EX
13

4 Ultra Ball
2 Level Ball
4 Eviolite
4 Switch
1 Super Rod
4 Professor Juniper
4 Cheren
2 N
25

10 L
4 DCE
14

That list leaves you with a few slots left open for whatever you'd like. Possibly the Terrakion with a few Prisms, Random Receivers, another Regigigi EX, Thundurus, Pluspowers, and more.

Really hope i helped you out.

all good decks seem to lead to overused metagame decks, somehow. What has become of this world?

oh well, I have most of those cards. I'll see how that list does, although its a little way too unoriginal for my taste, but whatever works I guess.

Thanks for the help it is much appreciated.

If you want to run reuniclus the only really good way to do it is with vileplume, which gigas is also very good in. Otherwise it's just huge catcher bait and a huge waste of resources

He built this for BW-up so no vileplume. Catcher can make or break the original build and the one shifting to zek eels is the better choice for energy accumulation.

I do not disagree with you Almighty. I liked the new luxray from NXD, but it just inst going to make the cut comparatively to what the next few sets have to bring. Also I hope we see less I win button decks out soon.

AGG, don't get down on yourself. Just because this particular idea didn't work out doesn't mean there's no room for innovation. Look at the two new rogues that have come with ND: MeesieMew and Quadbull. We'll probably see even more by states tomorrow. Sometimes you just have to scrap an idea if it doesn't work.

Eel, schmeel.

Dynamotor is a pretty d@mn good ability, but overused and Over-hyped.

Your deck is fine without Tynamo/Eelektrik if you ask me. Will you win States with that deck? Not likely.... you should consider a Shaymin EX in there, comes in real handy if you lose 2 EX's (150 damage), say you lost a regi and a MewTwo.... you're kinda screwed at that point - unless you have someone who can hit back hard without stacking a dozen energy cards, since you probably won't have enough turns

Also, if you want to trainer lock, you can run *Gothitelle* (goes well w/ Gardy, but then you have too many pokemon considering the rest of your list).

I wish they would just make a trainer lock stadium card. :thumb: That would be Boss.

No. No it isn't. Dynamotor is going to get better and better the next two sets.
Raikou EX, Rayquaza EX make Dynamotor decks even better than they are now.

Gardaboor or whatever it's called is a potential counter but it will only be ran as a tech and if you are fast enough you can eliminate it no problem.
