Gigalith - Regigigas EX - Vanilluxe ND. - Landorus

I want to try that on a fun deck.

EDIT: Forgot Landorus

I'm not quite feeling as excited about Milotic as a lot of you guys are. Yes, it's good, but you can't even use it's attack 'til turn 2, and even then it will probably die right away. Doesn't seem worth it.

Now, what WILL be good is Roserade + Devolution Spray. T1 you play down 2 Roselia, T2 you evolve 1 into Roserade, search for any card, play devolution spray, evolve the other Roselia, and search a 2nd card. You can keep doing this until you run out of Devolution Spray. This sounds really, really good.

If you want to see power creep, look no further, Ampharous is here!

We started with 1 damage counter on the Prime and people laughed. What you know about THREE damage counters per energy? No attaching to Hoppip for you!

But really, Sigilpyh shows us that Mewtwo's price tag is going to burn up in coming format,
Terrakion ex is awesome,
Aggron-Devolution Spray is silly,
Garbador is anti Eeletrik winningness,
Tool Scrapper was so needed,
Rufflet is pretty cool,
Gigalith is nice, \
Golurk would've been great in some formats past,
Manetric is bosssssssss,
Milotic and Furret SW must get along real well,
Bouffalant just loves that revenge kill

And Gothitelle with Mew Prime and Victini could be some crazy hax parade.

I feel the need to note 2 important things:

1) Garbador isn't actually very good. Yes, it shuts down Eels, but it has 2 problems. First, it can be Catchered, and second, it MUST have a Tool attatched for it's Ability to work, and with Tool Scrapper around, that's not happening very much.

2) Gothitelle also isn't very good, in part due to the flip nature of it, but ALSO because of the Dark Rush Espeon that prevents effects of attacks to pokemon with energy.

Mmm...I do like this set, so many fun cards...dragons themselves are kinda meh still, but the rest are looking interesting.

Could someone explain why they think Terrakion EX is so good? Cause I'm not seeing it at all.
Because Eels make Lightning the dominate type in this format, yet Fighting energy is hard as heck to get into play. For 3 energy he can OHKO almost any electric type, plus accelerate 2 Fighting energy. It's more reliable than using exp share, particularly when Tool Scrapper exists.

That's still three turns worth of energy, in which I could snipe it with two quick attacks from Raikou EX (among other things) it just doesn't seem all that worth it.

Actually it started back in 2004 with EX:Dragon's Ampharos ex. which was also 1 damage counter.

ex just had to be in play but could not stack. didn't see play.

Prime just had to be in play but could stack. still didn't see play.

So what's the logical process? Reprint the same totally worthless ability again? Lol... of course the numbers increased, they've seen twice before how useless 1 counter per attachment is.

Note that the new one however... has to be active. So the format already has a built-in method for ducking the effect - Catcher up something that isn't an Ampharos.

It's not even really power creep to me, it's more power catchup. That's how that ability should have read eight years ago.

Skittles is back! Now with added flavor!

Anyway, I love Ho-Oh EX, so much fun XD. Milotic, Manectric, and Ampharos are crazy. Shedninja should be fun.

Gothitelle+Fliptini? Gogogo.

GigaJelly should be amazing XD

Wait.
Skiploom - Grass - HP60
Stage 1 - Evolves from Hoppip

[G] Seed Machine Gun: 10x damage. Flip 4 coins. This attack does 10 damage times the number of heads.

Seed Machine Gun? That has to be the best attack since Nag.

It started even before that card. The Dark Ampharos from Neo Destiny. Also have seen it in the Electivire Lv. X, so the idea has been used quite a few times. The problem seems that any Ampharos with that kind of ability doesn't seem to have a decent enough attack to warrant it.

Good call. I completely forgot about the Neo sets... i thought there might've been one before Ampharos ex but didn't look that far back to verify lol. Darn laziness!

Still, it's an example where they're finally giving an underpowered concept a better chance.

Funny how people talk about Gothitelle's first attack while its second one is so much better. Potentially 140 damage for 3? Still doesn't make this card good cause it's a stage 2 and well, all basics are overpowered so good stage 2s don't stand a chance. But at least a lot better than the flip attack. ;)

Slaking would have made things alot more interesting if his ability read " Basic Pokemon cannot attack slaking". We need something of that nature to come out.
