Were we supposed to have gotten a cable to connect the GameBoy to the GameCube for use with Colloseum? Or do we have to buy that seperately?

If it matters, we bought Colloseum at Best Buy.

No free cable offer has been in circulation around here. The only deal I've seen was a free guide when you buy Colosseum. I think that was at Circuit City.
 
The free cable deal was when you preordered at Target.

We also got the BradyGames guide, since Target was offering that free with purchase.

You must purchase a GCNGBA Link Cable to connect your Game Boy Advance or Game Boy Advance SP to your Colosseum game. Note it doesn't hurt (if you can afford it to have at least two cables, but if you want to have some good 3-D battles with your friends, get four of them.
 
Yeah, i got the coupon for a free link with my preorder too (but from ToysRus, I'm told---it was a gift). But get this: at best Best Buy you can buy Coll. and get a "micro" controller (for smaller hands, like my sis or my mom or someone) for $5! So, now i have to get around to returning the game to TRU and go to Best Buy to get that controller. So think about that: get a free link AND a greatly discounted controller. Cha-CHING!
