Baton Pass has totally been done by Ledian (can't remember which one, but it's an older one). Basically, it just trades Energy, statuses, etc. Prize manipulation has been done (See Island Hermit, Here Come's Team Rocket, Azelf LA, etc.). As a "new" mechanic, I think it's pretty weak.
I would have suggested "Instant" trainers (i.e. trainers played during your opponent's turn), but Power Spray has already been printed, taking up using that as a new mechanic. This leads me to two choices IMO:
--Cards played at times not currently allowable (when discarded, during your opponent's turn, etc.)
--Owner's with Pokemon (think of this as a one-sided Stadium effect or a Supporter every turn; for this challenge, they would have to be attached to a pokemon).
I can already tell short times for challenges is gonna be the biggest restraint of this Survivor. And lack of team communication is gonna shoot us down.
That said, I think in each post that we do our card we link to our post and card as well as put our card next to the type taken. This only takes a second to do "Quote" on the last card making posts and makes things look pretty clean. If I was in the top post (i.e. topic creator), I'd take this on and do this myself there. Sadly, I can't.
Since only one "must" contain a new mechanic, other may as well. Since the POkemon played at awkward times sounds cool to me, I'll be taking that one. Also: losers, weepers.

Primeape (F)
90 HP
Stage 1 (Evolves from Mankey)
PokeBODY: Madness
If you would discard Primeape from your hand or from your deck, put Primeape on your bench as a Basic Pokemon.
PokePOWER: Frenzied Piledriver
When Primeape comes into play, both you and your opponent choose one of your Benched Pokemon and send it and all cards attached to it to the Lost Zone.
(FF*): Fractured Punch (40+)
This attack costs (F) less if Primeape is a Basic Pokemon. Choose up to four cards in the Lost Zone (yours and your opponents). This attack does 40 damage plus 20 damage for each card selected in this way. Then, place each of those selected cards in their player's discard piles.
