hey, err I was reading the rule book and it says that pokemon lv.x are the same as the level there played on...
so does that mean a lv.x, lets say carchomp c Lv.X can be searched by for instance great ball?
sorry if ive miss understood this and waisting time...
I just didnt find it very clear...

The Lv. X is the same stage as the Pokemon it HAS been played on.

Until then, it's just a Pokemon Lv. X.

ah ok, so It cant be searched out as a basic.
I was just rereading the rules and got confused, thanks again ^^

^^^ oops... No it can't be searched out as a basic. Especially because great ball makes you put a basic straight onto your bench. Currently the only ways to search for Lv.X's are..
Bebe's Search
Premier Ball
Dusk Ball
Quick Ball
Twins
SP Radar (Sp only)
Pokemon Communication
And the like.
Further, the following DO NOT search for Lv.X:
Pokemon Collector
Professor Elms Training Method
Luxury Ball

If you read the wording on the above cards and compare them, you should be able to clear up your confusion on the issue.
Edit: I thought you said can, not can't. Oops
