If you are from outside of Montreal, we will ship it to you for free!

So every winners have a chance to win the 3DS for only 1$!!!!

Hello,

So the rules for the Video Tournament are:

If you are 2 players:
You will have a 6 Pokemon team. Battles will be 1vs1 pokemon. All Pokemon will be at level 50, so if you have your pokemon at level 94, it will be at level 50 for the battle, he will keep all attacks but stats will be decreased. Same thing for Pokemon at level less than 50. Stats will be increased.

Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Deoxys, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin and Arceus cannot be used.

Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Dialga, Palkia and Giratina can be used, but are limited to two of these Pokemon per team.

The Soul Dew item may not be used

The winner of the battle will receive a ticket, and we will take at random a ticket at the 7 p.m. for a chance to win the 3DS

You can participate in as many battles as you want.

If you find 4 players:
You can play in the Pokethlon

With the same team, you will play at all the 4 competitions.

The winner will receive 2 ticket, and we will take at random a ticket at the 7 p.m. or a chance to win the 3DS
The second will receive only one ticket and the third and fourth will not have tickets.

Can you please remove the Top Senior's decklist. This is not allowed and is not appreciated by him or his family. Some people spend a lot of time perfecting their lists and do not wish to have to face 20 of them at the next tournament.

Make that both first places from Masters and Seniors... neither want their decklists out or they would have posted it.

Matt

Some of us worked hard together on those list with our teammates. Please ask then first before posting it up in the forum. The TO might get in trouble for this.

I remove them but you have to know that when you are in the top 4, Pokemon ask me to give them the decklist, so they can be publish on their website.

yes, that is true
but that doesnt mean you can post them on your own website. in addition, pokemon rarely ends up publicly displaying the lists

4. Publishing Tournament Information
Tournament Organizers, judges, players, and spectators are free to publish details of play, and/or the
results of a tournament, subject to local, state, and national laws.
Each player’s decklist is considered to be confidential both during and after an event. Decklists should
not be shared with anyone other than the tournament staff or POP.
Decklists should be retained by the
Tournament Organizer for two months unless otherwise instructed by POP. Any decklists two months
old or older should be immediately destroyed.
Pokémon Organized Play reserves the right to publish tournament information including but not limited
to the items listed above, transcripts, audio and/or video recordings or other recounts, player penalties,
awards, or any other resultant information from the tournament

Think of it from the eyes of the players competing and how many hours they put in making the decklists. If they wanted it up, they'll put it up.

Sorry but you want to say how many minute they search for the Luxchomp decklist and copy it? Sincerely, the deck of the first is the same thing that the world championship deck (with very few changement). Everybody knows this deck abd the decklist. Pokemon is the only game where the tournament organizer can't publish the decklist because Pokemon is too afraid to put decklist on their website.

I put the decklist for the new players, with it they can understand the structure of a deck. The decklist change a bit all times (with the new set Black & White it will be another decklist) and the decklist that we post of the first of the Provincial is just a base for the players.

I agree I should ask permition at the players but with my players of Montreal i had never any problems. The only problems is always with competitive players who think they are important.

Competitive players are never the best players for a game. The goal of Pokemon, and all other card games, is to have fun!

i don't care if you are don't agree with what I say but it,s my philosophy. I never hind any of my decklist to any players I'm happy when some players speak about there deck and think about it. it's only with a base (the decklist) that we can do better deck.

noone will disagree that it is better for learning players to see the structure of the deck that won.

however, (regardless of decklist cause it couldve been a rogue deck that won, justifying the distribution of a list cause 'luxchomp is cookie cutter so whats the big dea?l' is a poor argument), most are outraged as you didnt follow the rules outlined by tournament regulations.

If you had any respect for the people who made their list and the game, you would have not posted them or defended the action.

It's not a matter of whether it is a readily available archetype, but whether you respect the players as people because every competitive player puts days, even weeks, into thinking about, putting together and testing their lists to their liking. Once they got it ideal they took it to a tournament, tried their hardest and after a long and hard day triumphed! (long and hard because while Pokemon is fun, top cut is stressful)

After their success and hard work you came and dampened it by posting their hard earned winning list without asking and said things like "they're all the same anyway" or "I should be allowed to do this anyway." Bet that made their tournament experience a good one.

And while I'll agree that decklists do help teach new players leave it to the lists and article that intend to do so.
