So last CC of the season and its at Pembroke Pines, a venue where I've done decent at so I'm looking forward to a good end to the Cities season. After playing Vilegar for 6 of the 7 CCs I go to(Played Porygon-Z once and went 2-3 XD I get the cards to play a great deck that I've never played before, LuxChomp, or Lady Gaga as I like to call it =D lolz. Its not the hardest deck to play, but it isn't as auto pilot as people think.
So I pick Kevin up and we register and kill time before we start. 17 Masters, 5 rounds with a Top 4...awesome ^_^
Round 1 Lady Gaga vs Tony B with DialgaChomp
Tony is this awesome Pokedad who is a pretty sick player to boot. Remember, this is Florida, where Pokedads will beat you mercilessly. So we shuffle up and start. The prize trade starts early with random KOs. The big thing that changed the game was he belted an Ambipom to ko my Ambipom to go up 4-5. I'm looking for either a psychic or a Cyrus so I can get Promocroak out and get the revenge KO, and what do I top deck...psychic ftw! I collector for the Croak and random stuff and galactic switch another energy and get the 2 prize revenge KO! I roll through him after that.

Round 2 Lady Gaga vs Maravel with Chenlock
So I hate people who have Sableye starts and still make you flip, just annoying to me. So she impersonates for an Initiative hits 1 heads and looks at my meh hand of 2 radars 2 sprays and other stuff. She puts a Radar under! Lolz Top deck a collector and start rocking it like the OG I am =) a big play for me was spraying her Time Walk, cuz she had some epic prizes. We both get KOs until time is called on my turn with me trailing 4-3, I Dragon Rush to tie it up. She misplays pretty bad but the Dragon Rushes an Uxie that had 50 damage on it...ok works for me. I then bring up a Luxray, collector for Draggy FB and a Bat. She doesn't know that I have a turn and a dce in hand so I play down Draggy and she let's me galactic switch an energy over. Attach dce and KO her Chomp. I say GG and she remarks that we're tied on prizes and I say I know I have it next turn, I'm such a jerk sometimes =D She Luring Flame's up my Bronzong and I don't even flip for burn because I have the turn in hand.

I said I would scoop to him so he can top with me and I do...=) its and even matchup that can go either way

Game 1: So I got deafen locked for about 6 turns in a row. When he finally breaks the lock I go off with E-Gains and Radars and everything. I get a comfy lead and he takes 2 before scooping.
Game 2: See game 1, but minus the deafen lock and Draggy FB is my dawg!

Game 1: I get a great start and I go up 5-1 pretty quick. But he Judged my hand away when I had game and KOd my Garchomp X and I dead drew the rest of the game while Abomasnow spread and I scoop when he has game next turn.
Game 2: He gets a god start, I struggle and I misplay like a champ, I always seem to misplay when it matter most =/ Abomasnow is boss against SP...

So it was a good day playing a deck that I've never played. I just need to not choke next time when the pressure is on.
