Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Cards that might be in Triumphant that may change the Meta

"Spreadgar" Seems like a rather poor way to use Gengar. It uses an expensive attack, that doesn't do much damage (I mean, you have to place 4 damage counters, drop a Crobat G, and use Compound Pain just to kill a Garchomp C). Which, by earlier arguments, 2HKOs are kinda bad against SP decks. I'd think Palkia G Lv. X and Gengar Prime are better suited.

SpeedGar seems like the better Gengar deck imo.
There is only one way to find out and that to wait.
How? You're going to need to have 3 energy attached before you start doing 30 to everything, and then you have to deal with garchomp's healing breath. At least by using plunge into darkness you'd get some pokemon into the lost zone. How do you expect to get 3 energy attached to a stage 2 lv.x without sp knocking it out?

EDIT: LoL, sorry read spreadgar.

Eh.
If you can OHKO it thats good. It will make it hard for them. But they just need 2 energy and thats 2 pokemon a turn.

On top of that, 2HKOing a Gengar doesnt matter, Im sure they will have another one on the bench ready to come up. Thats 4 turns knocking out things for 2 prizes, and they already have 6 pokemon in your lost zone, or they have 4, ready to put 2 more in there with the next gengar coming out.

I think this is going back to when Luxray GL X came out. So many people were like, it stinks cuz it can be power sprayed.

Now its the number 1 deck.

Another thing is, you cant always rely on Crobats...

And Absol will be good when gengar comes out... (FINALLY!)

Well Hopefully xD

Even if you flash bite kill one Cubone, what do you do to the rest? There's no way you could kill 4 Cubone's when each has an 80 Damage Buffer. Even after it, you'd still have tho Donphan Prime that compliments it to try to kill.

Also, the deck would be foolish not to play E-belt, Defender, and Snowpoint Temple. That's a Pokemon with 80 HP, 80-100 Damage Buffer, AND its attack can do massive damage with luck (which, considering how hard it is to kill, could be pretty easy manage on accident)

Seriously, Cubone tank will do a lot more than you think if a consistent way to discard Marowak can be found, which I bet Junk Arm can help with that.
Last I checked, Dialga G Lv.X makes that Body evaporate, that card some people are playing more often to prepare for Vileplume.

What part of "it's run with either Machamp or Donphan" is going over people's heads? Surprisingly enough, I'm not going to rely on a single Basic as the basis for the deck. I think Machamp would actually prolly be the better of the two, either Machamp Prime or Machamp SF can OHKO Dialga G. Lv. X.

Relying on a flippy attack at all still seems bad, I guess I could see it if it did a confirmed 20 to begin with, but I just don't see what this is supposed to do other than acting like an awkward tank.
