Don't get me wrong, love the trophies, but if Pokemon is losing so much money that they have to cut back on Regionals scholarships, why are they spending more money by making Cities trophies? Do they cost less than medals? This would contradict the argument for why they switched to Medals for states last year.
On the bright side, I think trophies may be coming back for States. I assume "1st place award" means Trophies now. Then again they could end up being stickers.....
