this is the deck that took control of the states in new hampshire/

4 mudkip
4marshtomp
3swampeert holo rs
2 swampert ex
3dunsparce
2suicune ex

3 warp point
4switch
2rare candy
3elm's training
2strength charm
3birch
3 consirators
2pokenav

20 water energy

what dp u think?

The search/draw engine looks a bit shabby. Why the three conspirators when theres so much energy anyway? Remeber that Copycat/Professor Oak's Research will fill your hand with fresh cards which includes energies, so why use a supporter on getting 2 energies when you can get 5+ cards with another supporter? I've would have done like this:

POKEMON (17):
4 Mudkip
2 Marshtomp
3 Swampert (Holo)
2 Swampert ex
4 Dunsparce
2 Suicune ex

TRAINERS (25):
3 POR
1 Copycat
4 TV Reporter
3 Oracle
3 PokeNav
3 Rare Candy
2 Crystal Shard
3 Warp Point
3 Switch

ENERGY (18 ):
18 Water Energy

Search/draw engine is up to 14 (11 Supporters). Protection against Rayquaza ex is improved, chances of starting with a Dunsparce is at a max and you have oracle to get you some needed cards.

But Swampert/Suicune ex is a great team, so I'm not surprised they win matches.

i don't know.... instead of using pokenavs and things like that, delcatty works great if u tech in like 2 fisherman......

that way, u bust out 4 nrg's into ur hand and mize all with water call.......... i'm too tired to make a new decklist, but u get the idea....... lose the navs, warps and some water.......

also, i'd tech in like a wobb and maybe even a latias ex so u don't get pwnd by sceptile

obv if you won states w/ that deck, you dont need a fix :X

See daddiursa's fix if you need it.

Since it's not late here at all. I'll put what Bigpoppabeatdown said into a deck-list:

POKEMON (21):
4 Mudkip
2 Marshtomp
3 Swampert (Holo)
2 Swampert ex
4 Dunsparce
2 Suicune ex
2 Skitty
2 Delcatty

TRAINERS (21):
3 POR
1 Copycat
3 TV Reporter
4 Oracle
3 Rare Candy
2 Crystal Shard
4 Warp Point
1 Fisherman

ENERGY (18):
18 Water Energy

I haven't played this exact deck, but I believe that it will be just as fast as a Blaziken-Rayquaza ex deck since it has much of the same cards in it (exept for the attacking pokemons). And you got an extra joker (or two in fact) up your sleeve for the Blaziken player who also uses Rayquaza ex. (NB! Shards can also be used to avoid Sceptile's Water-resistance if you meet Sceptile).

[EDIT:]
A possible 2nd fix could be.
- 1 Warp Point
- 1 Water energy
+ 1 Fisherman
+ 1 Warp Energy

i would have the deck maybe a little differently except i only have cards from rs forward

Ok, but now you at least have ideas for cards that you can try to get hold of. Professor Oak's Research & Copycat from Expedition as so good that you can use them in pratically ANY deck you should make, as long as the current modified is Expedition-on. (And later on, at least Copycat will be just as useful in Unlimited deck).
2 Crystal Shard, a Fisherman or two and maybe a Warp Energy is quite cheap on most Internet card shops. 4 Oracles will cost you a little more, but 2 copies can be obtained from a theme deck (Mind Machine I think).

Anyway the ideas and fixes here are not necessarily meant for what you can play at the present moment, but rather like goals you can have for future trading or buying of Pokemon cards.

Nick, you finally signed up in the pokegym, took u long enough

I like your name though, i knew it was you as soon as I looked at it. You should probably get an avatar.

well the name suits you, and I really dont have any suggestions for the deck since I watched you play it and i know what cards you have. Good thing for you that I won too or youd be dead right now :p

whats the point of taking out 2 marshtomp for 2 rare candy, how do you get more draw power?

yea he can get started faster but it doesnt give him more draw power. just watch out for omastar

See tha period after the candy/Stomp thing? It meant:

-2 Marshtomp
+2 Candy

Add some draw power.

It didn't imply that Candy was draw.

Anyway, the most solid...est version of this deck is with Delcatty/Fisherman/Other energy recovery source or, IMNSHO, the best is SwampCuneKittyTon. There are lists all over the place...too lazy to type on up.

Wooper
