Interesting. Being an uncommon is quite rare for a Stage 2. Could work with Serperior, who knows?

btw, quick question, would it be OK to use Steve P's decklist program for Nats? Just wonderin' in case it might be outdated or something.

First I thought "oh hey, looks interesting".
After reading some posts I was "derp, whats going on?"
Now I'm like "is there any translation that tells the truth?"

what is this i don't even-

Not in the Black/White era. Japan basically shafted the non-holo rare so if you get a rare in a booster pack, it must be holo.

All of the US B/W non-holo rare cards, including stage 2s such as Unfezant and Stoutland, were formerly uncommon in the Japanese set.

Just as an aside, Japan has always, as far as I know, had a holo rare in every single pack. At least they did during the entirety of the ex series.

I double checked, and the actual translation is the correct one. Maybe the romaji is not 100% accurate but this is what I got:

DAMEKAN 3ko wo, aite no POKEMON ni suki na you ni noseru. kono tokusei wa, kono POKEMON ga BATORU ba ni iru nara, jibun no ban ni 1fui tsukaeru.

DAMEKAN 3ko wo, aite no POKEMON ni suki na you ni noseru.
Move 3 Damage Counters [from your Pokémon] to your opponent's Pokémon in any way you like.

kono tokusei wa, kono POKEMON ga BATORU ba ni iru nara, jibun no ban ni 1fui tsukaeru.
You can use this Ability if this Pokémon is your Active Pokémon once per turn.

Technically, they don't have rares (or holos) in every single pack, anymore.

Also, Japan did have non-holo rares before b/w; though, I have no idea in what proportions they were distributed. Bulbapedia indicates they were present during Clash of the Summit.

Pokebeach is dropping the ball with this one.
Aren't you glad we didn't? ;)

Incorrect translation said:
Once during your turn (before your attack), if this Pokémon is your Active Pokémon, you may move 3 damage counters from this Pokémon to one of your opponent's Pokémon.

EDIT: Soujiro Elric got it right, too. At times I don't think BP has access to accurate translators for the TCG.

Assuming the "3 free damage counters while it is active" thing is legit, i could see gengar/Chandelure being awesome. Swarm chandelure, use lots of switch/junk arm/dodrio/etc. Then cursed droplets everything and laugh as you lost zone a whole bunch at once. Set up behind the goth thingie, or some sort of wall (steelix maybe?) and then abuse twins like mad to set up, while setting up your damage counters, then boom, sweep in one fell swooop. Sounds crazy, but it might be viable enough to work.

This must be one of the most confused translations ever. xD But wow, the new translation is pretty darn good. Especially since a Statused pokemon will most likely retreat to the bench, and you can finish him off with the ability. :thumb:

Ive never trusted Bulbapedia for translations and still don't. Every time I see their scans for cards, they're always wrong.

This card could be interesting with switch and Pokemon reversal/catcher. Bring up a gross Pokemon, spread away aka GG lolol.

If catcher is released, you could play Chandelure, Vileplume, catcher, seeker. All you have to do is bring up a Pokemon, plume so they can't get out. Seeker + repeat.

I'm only throwing this die out there as a fun idea but, this card could be viable (or is viable, idk yet lol)

Hopefully we've got the translation cleared out. This card just went from useless to awesome. I think Kingdra (Prime) just started crying.
