I'm proud to pass Elementary school. Of course we learned all of those things then! Thanks for the constructive critisizm this time. I spent about 40 minutes writing the 1st chapter, and the same with the second. I spent about 1 hour and 20 minutes doing the 3rd. I sitll didn't proof read 3 times, but I proof read once in a hurry because I had some things I had to do in my house. I can spend a max of 1 hr and 3 minutes on each chapter, but anymore and I'll be behind on my work. I'm taking a 2 year Chemistry course and I have major assignments that need much more attention than this, but I am trying.

One of the best atributes of someone is to be able to take constructive critism and use it to their advantage. Thats one thing I have learned, and it has done wonders for me in my English classes, and Tech Writing class in the past, and in my life overall.
Anyways, keep up the good work. Marril is only trying to help you, even though she may sound a bit harsh/rude when shes typing a response. Don't take it personally, sometime when a person types a response it can com across harsh/rude. Even when they dont mean it to be that way.

BTW: Vast improvement from Chapter 2 to Chapter 3.
My advice: Take a double session per chapter, and spend two hours and six minutes on each. In other words, each chapter will take the days in writing of two chapters. This might seem like flippant advice, but it'll really reflect itself when the quality of each chapter goes up because of it.

People that use the death of a loved one as an excuse for anything except tearshed make me sick. We are not going to give you sympathy. Marill is not going to take back her word just because your grandmother died (Or at least, she shouldn't.) Marill calling your story garbage and your grandmother dying are two very seperate events, and do not need to be intertwined. The only thing I see in that paragraph of that post is not anger, but rather a desperate cry for sympathy.
Forgive me if I appear heartless, but I call them as I see them.
