Hey guys the other day I got one of those really rare Charizards from Plasma Storm, and it is the error one with the fighting symbol. I was just wondering if the Pokemon Company was going to correct it or not, and if they do correct it which version do you guys think will be worth more? Thanks

Depends if they release it at all, and how long they leave it. I've seen a ton in circulation, they seem to be even more common than the Blastoise and RR from the same set, I've got 10 charizards myself haha.

If they don't make a reprint, then the card probably won't increase in value until much later, so I'm most likely gonna hold onto them for a while personally.

Errata has nothing to do with reprinting.

But, there has been a long standing rumor that says Pokemon only does one run, so don't look forward to another print that is corrected. Being as that is the case, I bet it won't effect the value any and I'm sure they will be worth quite a bit for a long time. They are completely unplayable and already the most expensive card in the set.

the secret rare zoroark was reprinted after its error in ragrds to its evolotuion strips at the top. The misprint had 3 stripes when it was meant to be two and th corrected one has 2 to which I think is more rarer. So a corrected charizard could still happen

Full-art zekrom was corrected on a second print, wasn't it?

If there is a second print where Charizard is corrected, I guess the fighting symbol will just make it "1st edition" or something

To my knowledge, and I could be wrong, it wasn't a separate print run on Zekrom, it was a printing error (low ink?). As for Zoroark, yeah, I have no idea. Maybe they do more than one run, that's just what I've heard from a few sources, neither of which had good sources, I would assume.

This reminds me of the time when I was a kid and Neo Destiny came out. I pulled a Shining Tyranitar
which read "It is so powerful that it can knock down a mountain with hust one arm." I noticed the
error and thought I really had something valuable. Turns out they never fixed it.

What was the error on the zoroark?

Three posts above you. :thumb:

They may decide that the Charizard error isn't worth fixing. I wouldn't be surprised if we never get a corrected version at all. It is an ultra rare, after all.

I think they will fix it. They did so with Zoroark - Next Destinies and with Hoppip - Dragons Exalted and those errors were not as big as this one.
If they fix the card, it will be like the Zoroark (and Blaine's Charizard ) where the corrected card is more rare than the Error card.

The real question is if they are going to fix it, is when. If its very late in the Plasma Storm run, than the fix could end up more valuable than the misprint. If it already has been fixed (but not shipped/not appeared yet) than misprint can be the valuable one.

Won't know if it's fixed until someone finds one with the correct symbol.
