I like making decks that aren't as popular to other people, but still might have potential.
So here it goes:

21 Pokemon
4-2-4 Charizard AR
1-1 Blaziken FB Lv. X
1-1 Heatran Lv. X
2-1-2 Blaziken PL
1 Azelf

32 Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums
3 Bebe's Search
1 Department Store Girl
2 Professor Elm's Training Method
2 Pokemon Collector
2 PONT
4 Expert Belt
4 Level Max
1 Luxury Ball
2 Pokemon Communication
4 Rare Candy
3 Warp Point
2 Broken Time Space
3 Super Scoop Up

7 :fire:

Strategy:

Charmander: He can search for more fire Pokemon, even if they are Basic.

Charizard: Attacks add up 50 damage with it's PokeBody, then add 20 more for Expert Belt.

Blaziken FB Lv. X: Adds the extra 40 damage with it's PokeBody from Burn.

Blaziken PL: Can Immediately Burn Every Turn

Heatran Lv. X: All Energy discarded through attacks from Charizard are reattached using its PokePower, and all Burn Flips are tails with it's PokeBody.

Do all the math.
If I have all the Pokemon I need out, that's 140 damage for one energy, or 190 with 3 energy, and I don't even need to discard an energy.
Then add the automatic 20 for burn.
NASTY.

Now the Probability of starting with a Charmander (or any other specific 4 cards) is around 60 percent, so that's quite helpful.

I know Level Max is REAL flippy, but I think it might pay off at least once a game.

Please help out!! Any ideas are helpful!

By the way, Premier Ball won't be allowed unless you're playing Unlimited, as it is pre-MD. So I'd take it out for 1 more Bebe's and 1 more Charmeleon.

I'd also suggest trying to throw in 3 or 4 SSU's to heal of Charizard. Then you can BTS and send him right back out again - fully charged for Fire Wing.

Alright, haha I forgot about the Premier ball deal, but thanks!
And instead of adding in Bebe's and Char, I just took out 1 Pokemon Collector and threw in 3 SSU's, sound good?

Yep. IMO 2 Collectors is enough for any non-SP deck - later in the game you'll find that they kinda clog your hand.

And consider some Ninetales (GS) as draw power. if you do, make sure to add in more fire energies, though.

Well the only reason I didn't add Ninetales is because I wouldn't be able to get them back into my deck at all. Unless I change things up a bit.

Unless I really change up the Trainers, I don't think I'll be able to run Ninetales.

True, good point. But IMO you need more draw. I'd say Uxie, but there's one less :fire: on your bench. But you do have Azelf (but that's pretty essential to this deck). So idk.

@ Barkjon
Thank you.

@ psyduck
Thank you as well, but I still like the idea of going without them.

Unless anyone else has reasonable grounds for me to put them back in.

I wouldn't worry about Premier Ball at the moment.

However, I'd go for 4 Pokemon Collector and 4 Communication, if you can manage it. I've also seen the deck with Spiritombs, as well...

This is the new decklist. I took out Heatran because it REALLY slowed me down. Maybe adding another Blaziken will help me out.

If you think something else should be added in here in place of those 2, please let me know. :D

Charizard is one of the few playable decks that can use the best draw support in the format (Ninetales HGSS).

Not putting it in the deck is almost a crime.

You are trying to set up 2 Stage 2 AND a LV X . . . you NEED draw. Without it, this deck will die long before you can even dream of doing 140 + Burn.

You need a full bench for Zard to do his thing . . . you need more than 2 Collector (especially as it works well with the 4 Communicator you run). Drop the PETMs for them.

Fair enough.

I kinda wanted to drift away from that, but I found a way to put the energies back into my hand.

This is the new deck list with Ninetales:

Pokemon: 23
4-2-4 Charizard
1-1 Blaziken FB Lv. X
1-1-1 Blaziken PL
2-2 Ninetales
4 Sableye

27 Trainers
4 : Pokemon Communication
2 : Warp Point
4 : Rare Candy

3 : Bebe's Search
2 : Professor Oak's New Theory
3 : Fisherman
3 : Pokemon Collector
3 : Expert Belt
2 : Broken Time-Space

How about baby mario?

Why play 4 Belt, when after 3 belted pkmn get KO'd that's game?Edit: ninja'd

I'm only running three.
And it helps to have one in my hand if I ever need it. I won't use all three if I know I'm going to get KO'd obviously, but if you think about it, it's going to be hard to kill Charizard anyway, he starts alone with 140 HP, 160 with E-Belt.
